That veteran story could've gone so much worse if he had not of snapped back to his senses and out of his training. Used to work with patients with mental problems (Usually relating to having a stroke, head trauma, etcetera), and we had a resident that survived three wars back in his days. A newbie I was told to keep an eye on while our eldest member was teaching him the ropes, but the new guy brushed me off because he thought I was a child (4'10" and baby-faced, so I often get that, and even my co-workers at that time made the joke, but also had me active a lot during night-shift since my childish appearance oddly soothed a lot of the patients. You work with what you've got you know.). I told the bosses over our land-line that the newbie brushed me off and I tried locating him to no results. I did eventually find him, just seconds before his near-fatal mistake. Since he didn't let me show him around and introduce him to our residents (I was going to give him the rundown, including the special needs of each patient since a couple were tricky, such as one has a short-term memory but will respond to anyone who knocks six times on his door, and a elderly woman who has a stutter needing people to talk slowly for her), that meant he didn't know about our war veteran that was a retired Marine. I was about to call out the newbie, just as he reached out and grabbed the elderly man by his elbow... BAD MOVE. I guess he didn't know that even when old you have serious strength when instinct kicks in with the adrenaline. He was screaming which set the man off more, it ended up with him in a headlock in the perfect position to get his neck snapped. He was damn lucky I was taught by my mother, aunt, and grandmother on how to deal with PTSD patients, especially veterans. So I did what I did best... Play. I pretty much acted like I was a young boy soldier reporting to my superior (Thanks to my grandfather and brother who both were in the military and had reenactment playing for me when I was little). Easy to make myself look like a boy since I had short hair already, and it helped that I knew the elderly man and his history because he would chat with me when I came to give him his medications and stuff. I played along for roughly ten-minutes before he calmed down and handed my the newbie, which was still knelt on the floor but at my level, I calmly whispered to him about playing along and not saying anything. I pretty much had the veteran believing that the guy was a newbie recruit and had just come in today, which wasn't a lie. It all ended with the veteran being his usual self three hours later after my boss chatted with him, while I kept the newbie walking around outside with me. The newbie was fired the next day, and I was given the option to take on a permanent day-shift. I told them no, because I planned to go to college the end of the year, and I would have to regrettably quit anyway. Unfortunately the place fell to new management before that, and the new bosses fired the competent people except me because they didn't take me seriously. This led to patients not taking medications, abuse, etcetera. When I quit and entered college, the place was shut down by State, but I keep in touch with my close-friends that were once patients there such as the veteran. We still talk about the "Greenhorn" tadpole that got in over his head with a bullfrog. Unfortunately though, he is nearing the end, and as a farewell I suppose he decided that he needed to thank me for being his "Top cadet". I'll be keeping that pin from his uniform he gave me next to the last photo I have of the staff and patients. This will count as the third patient to say goodbye to me. But at least they won't feel pain anymore (He still suffers severe pains because he has a bullet lodged in his chest that is in a dangerous spot, so he only needed medication for the pain, but was with us due to the PTSD because his family were afraid of him hurting himself). I miss all of them.

I'll never forgive incompetent management, but *especially* not the kind that put people's *lives* at risk. It's horribly tragic to hear what happened shortly before and after you left... Hopefully at least with it shut down the patients involved got sent to a much better handled establishment... Hopefully. :c Thank you for being a shining light for those in the darkest depths of suffering during your time there.

Another one that happened to me was when I worked in a very tony jewelry salon. We had 12 stores over the US, and a very prestigious clientele. Most were super nice and many became friends. But there were always a few who were huge pains In the keyster. One day, a pain in the keyster client came up to me and demanded we fix her diamond pin (probably bought 35 years ago) for free because "it shouldn't have broken, and I'm VERY good friends with the owner!" You guessed it, the owner of the entire company was there and standing not 5 feet away. Let's say his last name was Rosby. He slides up to the counter, and says, "Good afternoon, Mrs....?" She puffs herself up even more and says very grandly, Mrs. Lord-High-Muckety-Muck the Third! And I'm a GOOD friend of the owner, Mr. CROSBY!" Mr. Rosby says to her that we'll be glad to repair her pin and the fee will be...he turns to me, winks so she can't see it, and says "Miss B, how much is this repair?" I say it's $200 because all the stones have to be removed before heat is applied for the solder. Not true, and it's only about a $150 repair. But we've fixed so much of her old stuff, she never buys anything, and is always condescending and rude. Mr. Rosby turns to her and says the repair will be $200, payable in advance. She splutters that she's a GREAT customer, has never had to pay because she's such a great bosom buddy with the owner, "Mr. CROSBY"! The owner says that that prepaid repairs are a new policy directly from the owner, would she like to speak to him? She says she is going to call him the minute she gets home AND complain about both of us to her good friend. The owner said, "In that case, take my card so at least you can get my name right!" She snatches her ratty pin, and his card. She wheels away from the counter, and we watch as she rounds the corner where she thinks we can't see her, but the mirrored windows give us a perfect view as she reads the card that says "Abraham Rosby, CEO Owner". She falters a bit, straightens her back and leaves the store. She never came in for repairs again, and never called her good "friend" either. Btw, we gladly repaired, free of charge, jewelry purchased from us, or if it was a good client, or a client we really liked. But entitled poseurs? Nah, not gonna happen!

I've listened to a few of your video's, and I have an interesting (if somewhat embarrassing) story for you. I am a disabled military veteran. In 2011 my identity was stolen and used for a crime. I did Prison time for it, unfortunately. After prison, I got one of the worst parole officers there are in the area I live in. The PO's boss hates me simply because I am a straight male. I put up with as much as I could, but the parole office knows I am a veteran with PTSD. They try to bully me with all of their effort. The entire time they are bullying me, I am taking notes and making sure I read up on a few laws. When my PO's boss comes in one day and accuses me of being a straight male and seeking out women for the SOLE purpose of wanting to criminalize women and children, I know its time to make my move (keep in mind that at this time, I am also homeless because of the PO office, as they keep throwing me in jail every time I get a meeting to get stable housing). My revenge is so good, that the parole office even admits after my revenge is completed that I am too good at legal work. What I do is write an official complaint, using official Parole Office forms, but with a twist... When I was in the Army, I was stationed in Germany, and as a result, had to have terrorism training. Now, admittedly, my training only amounts to "do and don't do this or that", and nothing specific like a terrorism expert. But, those imbeciles do not know this. And that is where I legally attack them with the full weight of my legal ability and left handed writing style. I accuse my parole officer and her boss of domestic terrorism, and conspiracy to commit terrorism under the weight of my military oath. My first form is denied (which always happens). Then, I write a lengthy appeal which is sure to get not only seen by higher parole office management, but potentially news and political sources. Within short order, I am ordered to report to the parole office, where I am yelled at, threatened, and a lot more. In the end, I will not budge, and the boss orders me to get a new parole officer. The ending to this is that, 1) I never had any issues after that, and left parole not too long after having not been in jail one more day since the change in PO. and 2) the parole officer I did have, let slip to another person on parole that I was "too damned good at legal work" and she HAD to get off my caseload and leave me alone. (I later helped that same person the PO let slip to win a lawsuit against their apartment management for personal injury due to negligence). Never screw with a properly intelligent and learned military veteran. We find ways to adapt and turn the tables. (feel free to share this in a video. I have nothing to lose form it being a youtube video).

Assaulting a combat veteran with PTSD… Is never a good idea. I wants had a dear friend, I lover Really, that qualifies as a dear friend. Also a Vietnam combat veteran with PTSD, although in those ancient days it was not recognized, yet. I had to be extremely careful waking him. Usually I use the bell. Even sleeping next to him sometimes dangerous. It all depends on what he was dreaming of the time. You could get hurt severely otherwise. His reflexes were lightning quick, I found out so is mine. I also had some martial arts training. This came in handy and protecting myself on a few occasions at first before I realized that it was dangerous to catch him on aware. The problem is that I only had some martial arts training, I was able to block or avoid getting hurt. I also knew that this would not last very long because my arsenal of knowledge was limited. Sadly, his problems were almost too much for him, and I relationship came to an end. I really believe it was because he was certain he feared he would hurt me severely and put me in the hospital someday.

I don’t usually comment, but I feel like this story hits so close to home. This is also a revenge story, not an idontworkherelady story. A few years ago, I was finishing up my engineering degree and needed to take a timber design course. The course wasn’t something I needed to graduate but I needed the extra units to round out my major and graduate on time. I’d never heard of the professor before but my friends assured me she was tough, but fair. Fast forward to the first day, I’m front and center in the class and trying my best to understand the material. I raise my hand to ask a question and the professor doesn’t acknowledge me. Thinking she’s just too laser focused on her whiteboard drawing and not wanting to get too far past the content of the question, I said “excuse me professor, but could you please clarify the...” I didn’t get a chance to finish as the professor turned around and said in a mocking voice “oh, so you’re the problem child of this group. If you have questions, my office hours are at 3pm”. I didn’t really get it, but decided to write down my questions from this point on and just go to her office hours. Later that day I showed up to her office at 3pm. No professor. 4pm. No professor. After waiting for another half hour, another professor who I’d had classes with before popped around the corner and asked who I was waiting for. When I told him about the professor and her 3pm office hour he said that was weird because she never stayed past the end of her class. He looked on the staff website and sure enough, she didn’t have office hours listed. I wish that was where the story ended, but sad to say it’s only the beginning. The next day, I caught the professor before her class and asked her what happened and why she hadn’t been there for her office hours. Her reply still gets me to this day. “You were just going to waste my time, so I decided to waste yours. If you have questions, then you don’t belong in MY class.” I was speechless, but as I didn’t have a plan and it was too late to back out of the class without it affecting my grades, I decided to go sit back down and try to understand the material. Over the next several months, things got worse and worse. She would go extremely fast, erase information off the board as she was writing it, had a “no recording of any kind” policy signed off by the dean, and at one point even said that she hoped none of us would graduate because she didn’t want to “imagine a world where the buildings we live in are made by a bunch of brainless idiots”. Our first exam came and went and the class average was shocking. 13% average and on mine she had written “0% - No Signature”. I didn’t know what “no signature” meant, so I decided to speak, not even bothering to raise my hand. “Professor, what do you mean by no signature?” “What, you’re too stupid to know what a signature is?” “No, but I’ve looked over this exam front and back. There isn’t anything saying I need a signature.” She has the biggest shit eating grin when she said “well it’s not my fault you were too stupid to notice you were missing the signature page.” Sure enough, a buddy of mine turned his packet to the back page and showed me it was a page that had an academic dishonesty contract with an area for a signature. This page was not present in my exam, which this professor had personally handed me. After class, several of the students were talking and I came up, trying to talk with them. After about an hour of venting, I found out two major things. The first was that the professor had actively bad-mouthed me on one of the days I had been sick and unable to attend classes. Going so far as to say that she hoped I had decided to drop out of college. The second was that all the questions I had were echoed by all my classmates, who were just as confused as I was but were too scared to ask questions after seeing the wrath that a single question could bring. I decided at that moment to get the dean involved. I went to his office and told him the situation, the steps I had taken, showed him my list of questions which I had kept up with since day one, and the exam which had my 0% as well as the class average clearly marked at the top. He was deeply distressed at hearing this, as the professor had given him clear office hours of 6am-7am every day (which he confirmed was not listed on the website) as well as stating that she was having no issues with her workload and classes in the regular staff meetings they had. He told me that he would need more proof of this though and asked me to get a recording of the professor talking and acting in such a way. I told him about her “no recording” policy and he told me “I never signed any such policy. As far as I’m concerned, you’re free to record everything she says”. Here starts the revenge. The next day, I showed up to the professors office bright and early at 5:30am, recording device on and recording every little thing. Around 6:30, the professor walks out of the elevator and audibly curses when she sees me. The conversation went as follows. “Good morning professor. I’m having some issues in your class and have some questions I’d...” “I don’t know what the F*** you think you’re doing, but I will NOT be answering any off your dumb-ass questions. I don’t know who told you about my being here, but you’re basically stalking me and if you don’t leave right now I’ll have you arrested by the campus police.” “I see. So you’re not going to answer any of my questions?” “Are you retarded too? I said leave! I’m not wasting my time with you or your stupid questions.” Having gotten everything I needed, I went back to the deans office and played the recording. He was furious and decided to come for a surprise visit to the class, asking me to please begin asking ALL my questions right at the start of class and keep asking them, regardless of what the harpy (yes he actually called her that) said. I had taken down questions I’d had every single session and some of the other students had actually circled or put check marks next to the ones they wanted clarification on too. When class started, I began asking the questions and things escalated until the professor was red in the face and absolutely screaming at me. After about 15 minutes at which point the harpy was now screaming at me and using some words I’d never heard before, the dean walked in. The harpy shut up very quickly and tried to explain herself to him and how I Had RUINED her class and her authority. He didn’t pay any attention to her though and faced the class. “How many of you have questions about the material of this class?” *entire class raises hand* “and how many of you received a score lower than a 59% on the last exam?” *hands stay up* “I’m going to offer everyone here a chance to drop the class without it affecting their grades. Anyone who would like to drop the class, please follow me. Anyone who stays will be free to continue the lecture and this class, overseen by one of our other professors.” Almost everyone in the class stood up and followed the dean out. From what I heard, several students stayed behind and witnessed the fallout. The harpy had her contract with the school terminated (she hadn’t accrued tenure) and the professor who took over was actually the professor who had told me about her office hours. Most of the remaining students ended up passing, but for some, the damage had been done sadly. I ended up finishing my college career the next semester and could have been happier to never have to hear the harpy’s screeching ever again.

@@buttongoclick1035 Yeah, it really gets funny when customers in retail try and get on their high horse and I just clothes line them off of it. An example of this happened about week ago. Guy comes in makes a large order of lumber (like three grand worth) and is taking it right then and there. Our policy is a 2 hour window to get something like pulled. My fellow co-worker, a lady in her early 50's, tells him as much. He tells her to "hush" and that "she was being rude". Lets say I didnt control my temper nor voice. When i singled him out he started to continue to tell me that was rude first, which i didnt accept as HE told her AND put his hand in her face making the mouth close hand gesture. I then told him that i've been on the other side of the counter (I work in special sales) and have been in places. I dont get angry because that goes no-where and he needed to cool his head and think before opening his mouth again. I could BARELY here him understand what i was getting it. Also for extra punishment I pulled his stuff but didnt help load a single piece of wood. If your going to come to this country DONT THINK WOMEN ARE BELOW YOU. My co-workers know that i dont hold anything back and people are becoming angry at them they get me because I'll set them straight. I've also been given the nickname Honey Badger, because the Honey Badger DOESNT care.

So my IDon'tWorkHereLady story of the weekend: In M&S (For those who don't know, employees where black polos with green trim on collar and sleaves). Me in a blue suit stood with my mum and dad and two employees at the till. An older gentleman (late 50s / early 60s) walks up to me completely blanking the staff and tries to had me a peice of clothing that he just tried on. Me: Sorry, I don't work here. Thinking it was a honest mistake I didn't think much of it until he then said: But what am I supposed to do with these (gesturing to the peice of clothing) One of the employees then chirped in and offered to take it off his hands whilst trying not to laugh. The man then left and gave me a bit of a dirty look. The fact that someone had to walk past two acual staff (wearing the same shop branded uniform) members, and the clearly signed rail where tried on clothing is put back if not being bought just to have that interaction confuses me.

**cracks knuckles**. Sit down and strap in for this story folks, I’m about to tell you about one of the SINGLE most ENTITLED lectures I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet. So at the time I’m a second year university student who’s doing a psychology degree, one of the main things we have drilled into us is ethical approval, if you don’t get that you can’t do a study. (This is important for later) Now as a treat we had a very prominent guest lecturer come in and give us a talk about a field that he basically INVENTED. We were all so excited to meet him and hear from an expert but his whole PowerPoint was self promotion, his books, his TV shows, his various appearances on the news. He literally talked more about HIMSELF than what he was meant to be teaching, so obviously the room of students switched off. And He Went Ballistic. He stands at the front of the room throwing a fit like a toddler, stamping his feet, waving his arms and going on about how he’s sooooooo important and we’re lucky that he even considered doing a lecture at our university. He also told us to leave if we wanted too. (I wish someone had just to see his reaction but everyone was so taken aback we just sat there in awe.) He then went back to teaching as if nothing was wrong and cracked really unfunny jokes that I can’t remember. No one laughed and he got insulted and compared us to his class at his normal university, saying they found him HILARIOUS. We still just sat there stone faced. Then just before the break he drops the fact that he wanted to use us as participants in one of his studies on Rape Myths (e.g. if a girl wears a short skirt she’s asking for it). He was super snippy and just thrust these questionnaires at everyone who got one. (It’s also worth noting that this lecture was like 99% female). After we filled them out he got all grumpy saying he wanted a males opinion not female opinions on the topic. At this point the head of the department has come and sat in this lecture, which is weird as he’s normally super busy. The lecture ends and the next day I have a lecture with the head of the department. He informs us that this man did not obtain ethical approval and was not allowed to leave the building with his questionnaires and that OUR head of department had personally shredded and destroyed them. This man, did not, get, ethical, approval, for a very delicate subject. So he got banned from teaching from out university ever again and every time I see his face on TV I get visibly angry.

Then the field he so called invented most likely is not properly and scientifically made and has much made up opinions by him, hopefully real professionals have looked at it and made sure nothing is wrong
