Okay, so, at the risk of being r/wooshed, "food deserts" wasn't misspelled. Food deserts are areas where it is difficult to get a hold of fresh, healthy ingredients. Large amounts of America, for example. Not to say there isn't food, but not decent food. Yes usually the bad for you food is fast food and restaurants. idk if anyone said it yet but jack, food deserts are a thing. its referencing areas (ironically, including desert communities) where its not cost effective to ship certain food items out to a community, so we as a society instead allow them to exist on the bare minimum food requirements (often at an upcharge) instead of subsidizing the truckers that have to haul the food out there

Jack, it takes anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes for a radio signal to reach Mars, that means that (if you control it remotely rather than let it follow it's programming) you input a command then wait anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes to see the results. If my work is that slow-paced then even I have the ability to multi-task. What I'm saying is that we can control helicopters on other planets *and* look at pictures of cats at the same time, it's amazing. OK I don’t know much about grilling, but I do know one thing, the entire like appeal of grilling is that the heating elements is on the bottom and that the fat and grease drips onto it, because when the fat and grease drips onto the hot coal or wood chips or whatever you’re using it basically steams/smokes back up on to the meat and gives it that nice grilled Smokey flavor, so of all the things to complain about that is not it! and one last thing most things you cook with has a bottom heating element not just a top one so…. (Unless you’re using a microwave but like who cooks with a microwave???)
