My astranged father tried to pull this one on me when he kicked me out (I moved cities bc college and he was my only option) keep in mind I always blamed myself for my parents divorce and I am fiercly loyal to family and friends, so I put up with his bs 21 years of on and off contact, after he kicked me out I was ecentially homeless, penniless and 300 km from my mother's house, so you can imagine I quickly cut him off, last week he came to me to apologize for his behaviour, I told him no and he said at least he tried, that disinterest told me everything I need to know, needless to say he isn't my "father" anymore, I much prefer my stepdad who I have a great relationship with lol

In 2014, a man came home to see a trusted 18 year old male friend of the family with his pants down and genitals exposed to his 11 year old son. There were no signs of the abuse that had been going on before, but the father took swift action and beat him to a bloody pulp. He would have killed the man if his son hadn't begged him not to. Instead he called the cops and told them "I just walked in and found a grown man molesting (my child), and I got him in a bloody puddle for you right now, officer," he said. The dispatcher asked if he had hit the suspect and replied "Oh yeah, send him an ambulance. He's going to need one." No charges were filed on the father and the police chief was asked if he had any problem with the father's action and said “Not as a police chief and not as a father.” The pedophile got 25 years and is on the registry for life.

Demon Mother was related to a famous killer. I think they’re talking about Madame LaLaurie. LaLaurie is a very famous serial killer whose crimes were discovered in 1834. She killed, tortured, and “experimented” on her slaves in the attic of her house. The only reason she was caught was a young slave who was chained to the stove set the house on fire, hoping someone would save the slaves. She died, but LaLaurie was discovered in her crimes. She fled to Paris in self-exile to avoid prosecution.

I was really terrified that this horrible human garbage did that to poor Adam. They totally deserved it! But when the the BHS hit the kids, I thought: "I was in a similar situation once." A twelve year old boy was molesting my sister and a few younger kids at the river. (It was a playground.) My dad told me this, because I was a little 6-year old girl with autism. I don't remember anything about it! Anyway, this BHB was molesting the kids, and my sister. (My sis was 4.) So I went up to him and told him to stop. And since he was double my age, he didn't take me seriously and spouted some insult. And then, according to my dad and my sis, I punched him in the face, so hard his nose started bleeding. Remember, I was a 6 year old girl and this guy was twelve! I don't know what happened to him after that, but I hope his friends bullied him about it. I think that’s the single most badass thing a grandfather who’s taking upon justice them self as vigilante justice has to offer. Put The Punisher to shame.

I've heard this story before and I 100% wanted those people to suffer and died slowly, What they did to that child is horrible. That poor little boy. I'm sure that he went directly to Heaven and never had to suffer again.

Yeh, this was a thing, especially in wealthy families. I'm studying the lead up to the assent of Queen Elizabeth I. A lord who I believe was her step-father (who was married at the time) was making advances on her (she was 14-ish) because she in libe to be heir to the throne. It's a long, complicated but interesting story. And yes, he was eventually executed. (Because he was found in the kings bedroom, holding him hostage with a sword (good riddance))

Before rules regarding age of majority were put in place, girls were considered adults as soon as they had their first period. Also because life expectancy was shorter back then, many had no concept of adolescence or teen years, and the rules generally decided girls' age of majority was younger than boys'. So it wasn't uncommon to see girls get married as young as 12. Idk exactly when the US decided that age of majority should be 18 for everyone

I think Adam just comes and visits OG's family every once in a while

He and GGP. Once they reunited Adam said: "hey let's go check in on that family of yours" and GGP agrees and when they see they're keeping their memory alive they have a bro-hug. Knowing that even though Adam died FAR too soon he's still remembered by GGP's family ❤️ (and now with all of us lol)

These stories are very intense.... The first one truly broke my heart. The second was about a nasty little man and I felt horrible for the daughter's. But both ended in the ways I feel they should have. There are plenty of these stories where the bad guys get to walk away.... I love that these ones were forced to justice. It's too bad this can't be done in this day and age.
