You all need to learn how to interview people who have been traumatized. Your first 20 minutes of questions to Vernon were insensitive and felt like you were retraumatizing him by asking him to comment on the negative stuff people said and then bringing up a known prison Rapist. Vernon, sharing your story takes incredible strength. You’re showing courage by speaking out, and your voice matters. We stand with you as you heal and inspire others who may still be in silence. Stay strong 💪🏾✨ Prison rape is often under reported, especially among Black men, who are disproportionately incarcerated. Studies show up to 4% of inmates report sexual assault each year, and Black men face a higher risk due to racial disparities and stigma. LGBTQ+ inmates face an even higher risk. Your bravery in shedding light on this issue is powerful, and we need more advocacy to protect those affected.

The interviews with Vernon received such high views because of the uniqueness. It’s obviously a very rare instance when a man would be brave enough to admit he experienced being raped in prison. Anyone who judges him or accuses him of wanting it is a coward and deeply disturbed. It’s beyond obvious that Vernon is a very simplistic person and he’s not doing this for attention or entertainment. He doesn’t appear to have a hidden agenda or malicious intent. How do you ask a man who has shared his experience how he feels about someone who shared the fact that he’s a predator 🤦♀️

Do you know how many men been holding that inside, and they be full of anger, and pain to where they just explode. It's best to get it out, and talk about it, it doesn't mean that your gay, it means you were violated by a bunch of evil men, I'm sure many tried to fight those guys but you can't hold all of them off. Same as a woman being violated against her will, it's a horrible thing, and you will need therapy after something like that happens to you. I know, I was violated at 18yrs old, I could've lost my life. I'm 55 now, and it doesn't go away, it's a horrible thing, and I don't wish that on my worst enemy. Imagine men and women fight each day in prison trying to survive, and keep their sanity. Many men come out of prison making babies with any woman to try to tell themselves their not gay, and their not, it's just a psychological thing because of what happened to them, because they haven't gotten any therapy about being violated. Men, Women stay put of prison, and stay away from being a target. Thanks Vernon for being brave, and real. Many young men, and women needs to hear the truth, and change their lifestyle, and stay away from a life of crime. God bless You All. 💜🙏🏾

I pray that Vernon can separate himself from these vultures. They mean him no good. That Baba dude appears very much a predator. Vernon, Don't give any more free interviews. If you want to share your story, write a book and keep all the money for your self.

I sort of get were he's coming from. When they ask him about not having the heart to fight back verses robbery. Coming from an individual who's still healing from my own past traumas. He probably felt as though taking a persons life would be more detrimental to his mental. Than to fight back because you know once that anger comes ain't no telling how far an individual would go in really harming someone. Most will see that as weak. But no one really knows their potential strength until we're placed in a situation

Look at the numbers. This interview will end them... you shouldn't take a person pain and make it a joke. They'll never understand because They'll never have the courage to do anything to possible go to prison. Even protect their own life. To be infatuated by what happened to this person. Weird. Salute to Vernon
