What's funny is that chainsaws are one of the worst things to use to hurt somebody. They're made for cutting through hard, solid materials like wood and shit, so when you try to cut through malleable and squishy people, it gets jammed up and overall just kinda doesn't work the way you'd think it would. If a chainsaw is able to cleanly cut through you, you might have a bigger problem than the chainsaw.

As someone who sells art for a living, the two biggest warning signs that a creator is WAY up their own ass (and usually undeservedly) is 1) saying "I'm one of the most creative people... [literally anything goes here]" and 2) launching into a story about all of the creative things they did when they were a kid. Creative people don't need to tell people they're creative, and certainly don't need to use examples from a decade or two ago.
@Liggliluff4 жыл бұрын
And if someone is willing to buy completed physiacl art from you, they can just look at the piece and judge for themseleves. If they are making a comission, they can look at your latest art and judge for themselves. There's absolutely no reason to brag, that just adds suspicion.

It bothers me that people think it's okay to fake traumatic experiences, especially ones dealing with crimes. Faking a murder, robbery, assault, stalking situation, or other related events is not okay. It can become out of control very quickly, especially if someone takes it the wrong way. Crimes are a very serious manner and if someone calls the police on account of a video of someone faking their death, you have just wasted the time and broke the trust of so many people. Trauma is a real issue. Faking trauma as a way to get views is unacceptable. Stand up against this behavior now.

@RaspBerryPies6 жыл бұрын
10:31 FUN FACT: The 24 hour missing person thing isn't true. You CAN file a missing person report before it's been 24 hours. You can file it as soon as it has happened, the reason people get confused is because work places talk about how they HAVE to file a missing person report after 24 hours. That is the maximum amount of time a company can go without filling out the report. This doesn't go for all places that's just where the confusion started with some company's having that rule.

Just for the record, the idea that someone has to be missing 24 hours before police will consider it a missing person is a complete myth. ESPECIALLY if they are under 18, which I assume this idiot is. You just need reasonable grounds to believe they aren't at the shops or broken down somewhere. In fact, the first 24 hours are crucial in missing persons cases; after that the chances of finding the individual alive get much, much lower.

As a writer, I feel I should say that there's little about staged murder that's truly creative; in reality, it's largely a creative copout. Stalking and murder-violence in general-have an inherent level of drama because they trigger people's natural animal obsession with life and death, which lures amateurs to believe you don't have to put in the effort of _creating_ drama (because they don't know how). They all make the same mistake: "How can I be edgy and get attention? Hey, I'll fake my death! Any attention is good attention, after all!" Arguments and other conflicts are a lesser violence, but are similarly copouts. Creativity is about making something out of nothing. Stalking is already something. Murder is already something. _Violence_ is already something. Alfred Hitchcock is credited with saying, "Drama is life with the dull bits cut out." In other words, real drama is buried and has to be fished out; he didn't say anything about violence because it's typically the end of drama. Stephen King's most popular books are psychological thrillers; while they have violence and gore, those aren't the centerpieces of the stories because they're just a byproduct of the truly scary part-how twisted the human mind can be. There are plenty of other examples of quality drama that don't rely on the foundation of death, but I think I've made my point. The fact is, if you're truly creative you generally try to avoid death (particularly of the main character) because usually that means the end, and then the story is over. If such conflicts are appropriate to the plot, then by all means. But if you're just going to _deus ex machina_ that shit after it's all said and done, you should be looking for a more suitable drama than murder. If this guy wants to be an actual artist in some medium or another, more power to him. But this was trash. If he's half as intelligent as he seems, in five or ten years he'll look back at this "story" and realize what a huge, steaming pile of shit this is. Maybe he'll make another video that reanalyzes the whole thing and explain that he was immature and inexperienced then. We can but hope.
