That first one reminds me of middle school! There was a fish we affectionately called cat barf, it was effectively shredded beef in gravy poured over mashed potatoes and it genuinely looked so disgusting but it was easily the second best thing they served (second only to the turkey gravy over mashed potatoes) Everyone always looked forward to cat barf day!

they also tend to forget that some pple can't adapt to a vegan lifestyle due to nutritional needs for certain folks. some who were formerly vegan had to quit bc they were lethargic/anemic due to lack of protein and iron from certain meats. certain women's iron count PLUMMETS during their periods, so in the case of my sister, she looks like a dead-to-the-world kitten on those days.

To be fair Olympic shooting is pretty stupid and has little to do with actual shooting... Just like how Olympic fencing has little to do with actual sword work... Fun fact about those Olympic pistols they are chambered in a special .22 caliber bullet that is only like a quarter of the propellant of an actual .22lr and the firing method is electric not mechanical got to borrow an older one for a bit... For how expensive they are they have weird ergonomics have a crazy high bullet drop because of such a low amount of propellant are crazy expensive and are a pain in the ass to maintain... I always thought we should revamp shooting sports like this thing I once got to do with a friend who was active duty called an obstacle coarse run and shoot which as the name implies doing an obstacle coarse running 5 kilometers then doing shooting drills... They recently started making it into civilian shooting as events called run and guns or centerfire biathlons

What is fact is that we eat too much meat. If everyone ate the maximum recommend by the WHO which is 200g a week we would already be healthier and have a more ecological agriculture. Also one of the worst things we qre doing for ourselves and the environment is eating so much red meat, it's much more healthy and ecologically viable to eat small animals like chicken or rabbit, or medium sized animals like sheep or goat IF we eat meat.

I've got a better recipe than "boiled unseasoned potato halves, beans with carrots (also likely no salt, pepper or seasoning), and 3 slices of white bread with butter... The best part here is the bread, and that's only if the butter is lightly salted. How about this... Cut potatoes into medallions, boil to soften then remove and strain. Meanwhile prepare thawed corned beef, sweet red onions, green/red pepper (cut into strips and halved) With the onions, and peppers,carmelize in a pan on high heat with 1/2tbsp of butter (unsalted) And take of heat once completed. In a separate pan Set stove to medium heat and at 1 tbsp cooking oil (conventional virgin olive oil rec). Make sure to control temperature, olive oil degrades at around 310⁰f you'll notice it smoking if the temperature is too high. Add corned beef to pan, cook until edges start to crisp (corned beef stays red through the cooking process and does not brown around the edges easily, just cook until hot if you are unsure) Once completed, set aside off the heat and move to the next step. In a frying pan set to medium high heat. Ad 1 tbsp of lightly salted butter and 2 tbsp vegetable oil (lemongrass olive oil rec), 1/2 tbsp of ground pepper and 2tsp of oregano. Once butter is melted and beginning to carmelize, add in the potato medallions and cook, make sure to only cook until the potatoes are golden brown and the seasoning is well incorporated. Once every ingredient is cooked, you may mix it all together, if any food item has cooled just put it on heat a little before incorporating. Main ingredients portions are up to you. Scale as desired. As for the bread... You say you like a hearty meal, combining this dish with pumpernickel rye toast to make a corned beef hash and rye breakfast. I make this for breakfast on special occasions or for family gatherings since it's pretty neutral for times of day. It also goes great with highlander grog coffee.

@@fruitpigenthusiast120 That should be common knowledge, Yellowstone park almost had it's entire ecosystem killed off by elk due to them removing the wolves from the park. now let me give you an example of what would happen if humans stopped eating animals, the animals would begin to overpopulate which by themselves would be a danger to the earths ecosystem and then you add 7.6 billion humans to the mix there wouldn't be anywhere near enough vegetation to feed all of the animals aswell as humans and within a very small amount of time there would practically be nothing left.
