The Japanese haircut one may not be a Karen, or as bad as you think. About the TikToker and the theft I can answer for a definitive fact that's how that works. Buddy of mine is in asset protection at a Walmart and he'll flat out to tell you that they know who are habitual thieves because when someone gets away with stealing at a store they generally come back to the same store where they "got away with it" And instead of catching a person on like 50 bucks worth of stolen items they compile evidence and footage of the person doing it and once it reaches felony amounts the next time the person comes in or is spotted at another Walmart location they are detained arrested and brought up on felony charges.

Fun fact, we actually do have taste buds in our GI tract. they allow the pancreas and liver to produce the right amount of hormones like insulin and enzymes like lipase. It is hypothesized that these taste buds are why artificial sweeteners are so highly linked to type II diabetes. it's why I've been slowly pushing myself over the last decade to half sweet and non sweet drinks. At this point regular and even artificially sweetened store-bought drinks feel too sweet to me, and I generally only buy a 20oz fancy limited edition sparsely as a treat. Oddly enough, if you need to train your body to reduce sweet, start using half sugar, and a splash of lemon/lime juice. Human bodies LOVE citric acid, and you cannot overdose, so it's a good alternative, and also binds with and neutralizes the chorine in tap water, which I am mildly allergic to ingesting.

I used to live in South West Florida, in Naples. As far as I know, there isn't bullet proof windows. There are hurricane shutters. Which are metal covers that are either screwed onto, or come with motorized, automated shutters, that at the push of a button, completely cover your windows. They cost a few thousand to install. I had a friend who did that for a living. I've lived through like 5 hurricanes down there in Florida. Window coverings are a necessity. I've even had a roof cave in, partially, and a two-story, pool, screen enclosure, completely collapsed.
