True story tho..... Forged internals with decent dry sump oil pump setup would be unstoppable!!! The most recent white R34 VspecII featured on TRC [thatracingchannel] Is such a beautiful monster!!! Not saying it has a dry sump but pretty sure he said upgraded oil pump NIZMO and or TOMEI oil goodies which is greatly needed in order to provide sufficient oil lubrication RB engines. Not sure if I'm correct but it looked like an oil filter w/an fitlines above valve cover driver side! Oh and you can't forget the upgraded driveshafts and other goodies exedy tripclutch etc THANKS FOR THE BALLER CONTENT!!! Well that's basically the limit of "simple" and "reliable" power that you can put down with a reasonable tire and suspension setup. (quotations are important lmao, y'all probably understand it's neither simple nor reliable to make 700hp on most engines but it's more simple and more reliable than 4 digits builds. Also I guess grip isn't really an issue with AWD on this r34 but it definitely is with his other builds.)

Bro V-cam is worth it, builds boost quicker. It's way more responsive. Makes a worthwhile street car. My R32 GTR is a blast to drive around town and even on the highway. On the high coming up a hill you don't have to down shift. V-cam makes up all that torque that the RB26 lacks. GTR R32 -Wiesco butterfly cut pistons -stock rods -all new hardware and pumps -V-cam Step-2 -HKS GTiii-SS twins -1000cc inj -Split fires -Link G4 ECU 420 ftlbs. @ 3100rpm 420 hp @ all 4 wheels Excited to see your build man. I have a CRD 2.8ltr with their race head & GTX3584RS 1.01 rear and it made 400.2kw at wheels on pump 98 at 19psi and had full boost by 3500rpm. Will make mid 700whp on e85. Do It Do It Do It lol

The engine's apart so you may as well do the bottom end now. I had the bottom end completely done on my RB26 to make 500-50ish on 93 and 600+ on E85. Yeah it takes a long time and $$$ but in the end you know the block/oil pump/oil passages will be A1 and don't have to worry about it failing eventually. If you ever upgrade to a better block, you may as well go to the full billet block and confidently run 1000+ HP without worrying about it cracking.

My friend bought a r33 gtr vspec with a v-cam system. Freakin game changer. Had the exact same turbo /manifold on his r32 gtr but the r33 spooled 1000 rpm quicker 👏 great buy. Think he has some videos on it on youtube, check out Dirty2 Gtr and u will se some v-cam action 👌

V-Cam is where it's at for a street car. Being able to control the intake cam advance allows for much more midrange power. It allows for the most power "under the curve." Just get a RB30 shortblock with a basic pistons/rods/oil pump build and slap the rb26 V-Cam head on it. It would be an absolute beast with a 6266, 6466 or a 6870 turbo. Go big or go home.

Just do what you need for the Vcam, if it means forged bottom end then do it because it'll future proof yourself, even just forge all the internals. keep it RB26, as my mate build a 26 and make 600KW around 900HP on 26psi and that was crazy power for a street car.
