At first I wasn’t sure how to feel about this series, but I do appreciate how the PTO has managed to find a very interesting and accessible format for broadcasting. I’m also interested in the mass participation events they plan to have at some of the venues. I’m hoping the 100km format will add another middle distance option for age groupers out there.

Hello! I’m recovering from an upper proximal tibial stress fracture that I suffered in December 2023, and I’m finally starting my marathon training again. I’m looking to switch to asics, and I’m wondering what is the best run, walk, and every day casual shoe from asics. I stand and move a lot during the day, so I’m looking for something that is comfortable and supportive. Thank you for any help and advice. Don't believe so. Its not anything like ITU and national federations Triathletes have signed contracts agreeing to race the series

IM wanted to give a platform just for women, so I'd say most women like the move to split up the genders because females get the total focus on them, and not with the competing men. That said, either gender doesn't have an opportunity to race at Kona championships every year.

Still a real shame not to defend your IM world title you fought so long to win. The prize money has dropped quite a bit from 100k for winning PTO

@TheReorocket Ironman wants 2 days of rscing, Kona locals dont want that. So now they split WCs in 2 venues, that's their solution, which also generates more money

Nice men 2023 was great. It didnt have the Kona feel, cant lie about that. But Nice is still a good location and it should be part of the agenda. Pity that it isnt.

This „…finishing somewhere in the Middle East“ gives me a slight vibe of sportswashing. Just another way of either a country or a company to refurbish their image by throwing enormous amounts of money onto well known athletes of whatever-sport they are competing in. Hope you are happy with this deal and „defending the title not in Nice but Kona“ 🤐

Hope you're posting the same comment on the other top 15-16 women who have decided the same as lucy. She'll be at kona next year. If you follow triathlon you'll know, Nice doesn't count and more so now that the whole podium from 23 IM WC won't be racing in Nice.

No I won’t be posting on others channels because I don’t care about them 🤷🏻‍♂️ would not have stayed up till 2am shouting at the tv for an Anne or Danny win. Don’t think Nice will be a soft win and it may not have the status of a Kona win, but IMHO “two time Ironman World Champion” has more value and prestige than “Former Ironman World Champion and current T100 Champion”
