Racechrono LIVE telemetry data export over Bluetooth

This demo is not while driving on track so instead of actual lap time gain and speed gain I had to chose some data in Racechrono that would be live even on the test bench so I chose magnetometer. But you can chose any OBD2 data, any laptiming data, GPS, CAN, yeah ANY data Racechrono collects is available to collect live over BLE Bluetooth while out on the track.
You can put data up on a screen, send it over internet or whatever you fancy. A large monitor with drive train vitals and the current sector times in the pits? An alarm that goes of in the car or in the pits if the oil or tire temps are too high? An automatic email sent to your friends each time you set a new track PB hehehe.

Is race chrono still your preferred data logger? Are you still using the Garmin catalyst?

@@rejsa-nu Thanks for the response. It's been a few years since my last track day... but trying to get back into. and historically I used RC + GPS + BT ODB2. .. Based on your experience would you still recommend the Garmin? I am debating getting one to try out.

Garmin is great when on track helping me focus on the right things so it's a keeper. Also superb for quick checks between sessions what to focus on during the next session. But it's not good at looking at log details, where exactly was my Vmin and so on and it's rubbish to keep as a "database" to compare logs from many different visits to a track with different setups, different tires and so on over longer time. So RC is keeper too. Downside is many things to connect and turn on and so on.

Can you get steering angle data from Yaris GR?

Yes, it's available on the can bus. Don't have the pid yet though.
