I find that 1600-1800 rpm works best. On my stock tires I got 4.4. No warning of the tires. Those tires are hard but trying to warm them up on line lock or burnouts actually doesn’t help. If you read the instructions it also talks about changing out the tires as recommended to radials. Remember you don’t have to burn your tires unless they’re tires you need to burn.
@RacerX94 жыл бұрын
Bulletproof Recon .. I fully agree my friend. You definitely do not need to warm up street tires because it doesn’t make much difference at all. I also find that lowering your tire pressures does very little good

I not only use line lock alot to heat up the tires, l also launch my Challenger with it. It's an older SRT8, so it doesn't have those goodys and got a zauto burnbox for it. How I use it to launch is, l bring up the RPMs to about 2.5k or just before the tires break loose, and then let er rip tater chip. Just the fact that you don't have to tap into the braking system anymore, make it one of the best automotive innovations as a replacement for the old systems and is a great product

Launch control works great on some makes, not so much on others. The turbo AWD cars with launch control can JUMP off the line. On these cars, at the end of the day you don't have enough rubber in the rear or sticky enough tires stock
@lovethesmellofracefuelinth73744 жыл бұрын
Wow if I had to go through all of those steps, I probably wouldn't use the line lock on my Challenger either and didn't know there are that many of them. Actually I didn't know that they offered it with the SP, and is an awesome option to have if you can use it. I've got one of those that you plug into the OBD port by z-auto called the burnbox and all that you need to do is pull back the cruise stock, then stomp on the brakes twice. When you're ready to go, you just let go of the stock and you're off. (Kinda like you always say in your vids lol). Actually I like to use it as as a combo launch control after heating up the tires and just bring up the RPM's to about 2.5 to 3k, then let er rip. They are awesome and eliminate holding the brakes, which I always heard was bad for them to do and burns them up faster
