I don’t advertise my wealth by having flashy clothes, cars, or house because I’m much more interested in what my money can do in terms of building more wealth, giving to charity, and building memories. Looking wealthy just puts a Mug Me sign on my back, figuratively speaking.

Good advice to anyone today, Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio…

Trading in many source of income that are independent of government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Good asset and digital currencies are still good trading at this time.

Unseen factors is such a good point. We've been gifted so many things, including appliances and furniture. All that expense adds up over time and allows us to put our money into other things, which can make our life look different from others with similar income, who have less help.

In 2025 I’ll be raising rates and adding an adjunct business to increase my income. Thanks to you I’ve canceled all subscriptions except one - I didn’t have many to begin with. Call it what you want, but the intent is "earn more". However you do that is dependent on you and your circumstances. Work overtime, get a part-time job, sell excess "stuff", start a side business, maybe grow it to be a main job, do gig work. Whatever it is for you, find a way to earn more. Remember they *cannot* give generic advice that applies to *everyone*. You have to take personal responsibility to learn what you can from them, apply what you can from them, and live your own life. Even when it comes to the baby steps, they will eventually work every time, although not optimally, but sometimes you have to deviate or take steps backward. Life comes at you; be prepared and adapt, or don't. That part is really up to you.

I am preparing for 2025 by planning a "no spend year". I will be making up my rules to live by this year for needs and replacements. My reason for this is complicated- part because of what may happen in 2025 but mostly because I have long been an impulse buyer and I have so much that I just do not use. I need to shop my home and use up what I have....cheers

I am planning the same, simply because I have too much stuff. Let's do this!

Aside from food, personal care, experiences and charitable donations, I'm not planning on spending anything extra that contributes to the economy...I have no consumer debt, student loans or a mortgage anymore! 😊

Even a no spend month or two, in the year is good to do
@ItsmeCote27 күн бұрын
I did that for second half of he year and I was able to clear 65K in debt. I'm now out of debt aside of the mortgage and finishing building my EF. It feels great to not having any consumer debts. It's difficult to describe until you are at that stage. Next step is #6 by paying my mortgage out. Half of my paycheque goes against my mortgage

Nice content! Few years back I was assistant to a wealthy pen artist and within the short period I worked with him I observed that he had quite a chunk of investment everywhere, stocks, crypto, dividend investing to name a few, so he had revenues coming in from all angles. And in a year his worth doubled. With this I learned that the rich stay rich by investing.

Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

Can everyone increase their income; or do we need to have poor people in the world? Income is the direct result of value; can everyone be more valuable? Value might change based on societal needs. Value = what society needs. I don't think society needs everyone to be valuable. Therefore we need poor people so others can have more value.....

Personally, I enjoy the fact that the message and plan has remained unwavering, though I do wish the starter emergency fund updated...sometimes. I know their answer as to why not is that it was never intended to be "big enough"...but there *is* a point at which it's so small that it's irrelevant, even to the behavior. Basically, if $1000 still gets the job done, why wasn't it $500 back in the 90s? The math just ain't mathing.
