This is inspiring me to get my sewing machine back out! I stopped sewing during the pandemic because I was so overwhelmed with everything, but now I realized how much I missed the process of prepping a pattern, cutting fabric and even troubleshooting machine problems! Thanks for being the spark I needed to get the machines back out!

Rachel maybe you could make a cushion for your lounge out of your sequin fabric too! It would match in with your Christmas colour scheme and look so pretty!

@@karenm.andersen8046 that would have been such a great idea. I’m going to make some cushion covers in the new year I think. More for spring though 🥰

That easel is great. I’d line the drawers with a nice felt then it protects your supplies

This video brought back memories when my mum would sew most of my clothes in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. She's an amazing seamstress. She could sew the Advanced Vogue patterns! Mum would usually allow 3 days for the basic to medium level patterns. One day for cutting the pattern, one day to sew and one day to finish. For the advanced and complex patterns, she would allow 4 to 5 days. Mum worked for Sportscraft back in the early sixties as a macinist and ended up sewing the samples in the sample room where only the top machinists worked.❤

I was thinking about self-care bingo and decided to search cozy videos on KZbin and your video was recommended! Your paint by numbers is lovely! I have been watching videos like hobby videos from the channel Cozy K, Diane in Denmark video 3 ways I organize our Danish home - hygge baskets, where she talks about having a self-care basket, reading basket, and snack basket, and Mariane Cresp about self-care!

Love your hydrangea painting experiments! I do a bit of sewing. Recently I’ve discovered a lot of online pattern companies provide an A0 “print shop” version of pdf patterns. It’s so much easier and faster than joining a million A4 sheets together. I send the file online to my local OfficeWorks here in Australia and collect it the next day.
