Brewer is the fucking best! He knows whats up too. There's a lot of people who only go so far. People like callen or crowder are safe dangerous. They talk about things that are a bit taboo but theres lines they won't cross.They'll rally against the left(which is good), but there's a lot more important things they wont talk about. Brewer doesn't self censor. And its great.

Also husbands tearing down wives is a very real thing and it DOES happen if one wants your wife to respect and love you but one doesn't love and respect her then I don't know how that marriage would work out well and I am not a feminist but us women need to only marry men who are worthy of letting them lead us and then there's those who don't lead and those who clearly don't follow the Bible and the Bible says that the husband is supposed to love his wife like Jesus loves the true Church (Jesus sacrificed Himself for everyone in the true church) all I see is a bunch of so called men who want to play sports or even worse sit around and play video games and/or go to the club/bar after work days off and ones who don't want to go to church on Sundays don't want to do anything for God etc. Etc. And guys "buddies" take priority over their wives (Jesus doesn't give us the cold shoulder btw!) Jesus tells us to cast our cares on Him NOT the other way around even though we are supposed to serve Him well He calls true Christians His friends so if ones wife isn't your best friend after Jesus of course not ones buddies at the bar and it's worse if she isn't a bad wife and you're still ignoring her and saying ohh she doesn't get me like my dang buddies blah blah blah ITS wrong! And she shouldn't do that to you either! Painting ones nails etc. Going bar/clubbing with the girls can wait! 😂 they're not ones husband 🤦‍♀️😂 I don't drink soo... I don't have that problem!

@@MichellesdesignsEtc I agree. That's why Jesus instructs us to be evenly yoked. We submit to our husbands as we would submit to Jesus, and our husbands are to love us the same way that Jesus loves His Bride. Anything less is reason enough not to get married in the first place as marriage is a symbol of the biblical Bride/Groom, etc.

Racism is extremely comical and Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy and Elaine on Seinfeld taught me why. Everyone should make fun of their ethnicity. Self-deprecating is funny, refreshing and healthy for every meritocracy as great as the USA. It became banal after these victims took hold of everything. It’s like the insurance industry effect on anything fun or a little risky. It’s a really different age.

@Janzer_ 7 ай бұрын
"everyone" shouldn't be expected to make fun of anything, ethnicity or whatever. But, for comedians doing this kind of work it shouldn't be an issue based on where it's coming from. There is no hate speech, only speech that details exactly what you're saying. Speech that outs people for what they are, so if they want to spew racist stuff, at least everyone knows who they are. That's not the same as literal comedy, and there are people that pretend they're being funny just to let out their racism.

Interesting talk on this one. As a Canadian comedian who lived in Japan for 10 years and came back to do comedy in Canada, I use a lot of stories and bits from my time in Japan. In the time since I have been back, I have had multiple shows, sets, etc interrupted by hecklers or people come up to me after the show saying I was racist because I was making fun of the Japanese language, culture, etc.... Which none of it was remotley racist in anyway, it just ruined their ideas of a perfect anime country with some cold hard truths. I even had someone on tiktok who saw one bit from my stand up take the time to contact a show I was playing at and demand they dont have me on (luckily for me the show owners loved it and gave me more time haha)

Totally agree about having kids and then getting more aggressive about defending ideals and truth. You want your kids to be able to grow up and live in a world that resembles somewhat the world you know to be real. A world where truth isn't a subjective, abstract concept that can be twisted and manipulated at will, by people who have no idea what "real" life is like and exist only for the sole purpose of trying to transform humans into money-trees.

@@timfrye3586not surprised in this economy! We lost a ton of business July 5th. The trucking industry us in real trouble! Big companies want truckers to haul loads without making any money. Sickening!

What do you mean Bill Burr doesn’t mention his black wife? He mentions it every single chance he gets. Every special he does has jokes about her.

The story about Dave Atell at the end was hilarious. I can so see him doing that. Also appreciated Jim talking about his progression from being kind of reactionary (ie fulfilling others' expectations of who he was supposed to be) to finding his own voice and sticking to it instead.
