Sorry, but did anyone SAY Makeup and Movies needed to be shorter?! Because my vote is: na. Don't do it. Don't bend. MAKEUPANDMOVIESISPERFECTTHEWAYITIS. The end.
@zarazohl64134 жыл бұрын
I second that💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻this felt kinda rushed, too short + I adore this channel but when in this case Jamie begins to complain about how hard it is, how heavy the lights were and she works 40 hours I'm gonna be honest, it's kinda annoying, we LOVE to watch your video, this concept is seriously brilliant, you're funny as f... Very talented, the reviews are hilarious, the scene with hillbilly Jamie is extremely talented and so f-ing hilarious, the makeup is beautiful all in all PERFEKTION in my book, so when you start out with perfection and all of a sudden cuts it waaaaay down and complain about your own brilliant work and idea I'm kinda like hmmmmmm I thought you said you did it course you loved it, I don't know this ending through me for a loop 😉➿I REALLY hope she keeps - makeupandmovies- - exactly as it was and does them because she loves making them❤️ sorry for the rant 😊🤯🙏🏻💜🚲

The best part of discovering Jaime French late in the game is getting to binge so many videos. My favorite is when she green screens herself into scenes. You’re hilarious Jaime! I love the lengthier reviews, can’t get enough of ya ❤ Also you are quite literally the only KZbinr who somehow manages to make your ads worth watching…I’ll never be ordering Hello Fresh, but making the ads as entertaining as you do is pretty incredible.

I was born in 1970, so I lived my teenage yrs thru the 80s. MTV was on in the background at all times, & I even participated in Madonna fashion w/the 1000 black rubber bracelets & 15lb earrings! My friends & I could never get our hair big enough, so we basically created liquid concrete out of mousse & hairspray to get that nice poofy plume on our heads. Your 80s hair was on point, Jamie, tho you could've gone bigger! Btw these 80s movies make me feel so old at 53! Just to reminisce, I'll share a little bit about growing up before even having pagers! I remember the family tv being a 500lb piece of wooden furniture w/knobs. Kids were the remote controls until cable tv rolled around, & w/it the massive box that came w/a remote (revolutionary). That was after stereos stopped being made like massive furniture, too, & also after kids carried around 200lb boom boxes on their shoulders. I recall my parents debating between a beta or vhs video player, & thankfully, they bought the latter. NO ONE hung out at your house if your family didn't at least have a vhs player & cable/MTV! Instead of cell phones, you were special if your family had a 2nd home landline (before call-waiting). My sisters & I got our own line bc literally no one could reach my parents w/3 teenagers in the😮 house! This was back when we got yelled at to talk fast while on the phone w/G'ma bc it was long-distance, (& she'd yell instead of speak for some odd reason). My parents also liked that we had our own line so that we wouldn't stretch the boingy phone cord literally from the wall in the kitchen to upstairs in our bedrooms. My parents had to risk being clotheslined every time they went in n out of the kitchen!😂 Cell phones would've been convenient, but then there'd have been proof of all the crazy things we did, so I'mgrateful they didn't exist! Gen-xers are the last generation capable of lying to their kids about never having done anything stupid when we were young♡ That's just a snapshot of the 80s, if anyone was curious🤔🥱😳🙄

Keep these long! But take your time. You can tell that a lot of work goes into these but you make it look so effortless. The greenscreen stuff that you insert is always laugh out loud choke on your Coke Zero funny. Your content is brilliant! Do what's best for you and don't burn yourself out but as far as I'm concerned, long is good and I'm willing to wait for it (huh huh that's what she said).

Rad was (is) my husband’s FAVORITE childhood movie. Then one random day many years ago he insisted I watch it with him. I just had no words when it was all said and done. The dance scene was the funniest and most memorable part for me for sure 😂 .

You missed the very best line of the entire movie. It's Cru's response when Aunt Becky tells him that he "overrotated" while trying to learn that jump. His response is Oscar worthy. It's delivered with more feeling than anything else in the movie. To this day, any of my brothers can say, "You overrotated" and we all laugh hysterically. Look it up.

8:42 Here's a little info on the helmet Cru is using... The Cooper XL7 was innovative at the time, you could adjust it to make it smaller and larger. The front facemask snapped close so that your chin was allways pressed against which caused injuries when you were body checked in the head... a little feature, there were clips on the side you could open and close to adjust the size but if you left them open it looked like your helmet had wings... I'm pretty sure the helmet was banned after a few years, they are quite rare now ....

Love it either way. I love watching your expertise with makeup, but knowing that it's easier for you I still enjoy all the humor and editing. For example, at 9:38 that split second of "mall bangs" had me laughing and watching it several times to prove to myself that it was you! hahahaha
