This is one of my favorite S2000 KZbin Channels. Your channel is a shining example of how you don't need fancy video editing and the actual content provided will always be king. There are a lot of annoying and useless car KZbinr's out there with people that just want to be on camera rather than sharing something useful. I've been an S2000 owner for 18 years and love these cars dearly. Keep up the great work.

also important to mention the bleeder block for coolant near the intake manifold, definitely will have air in the system if you dont touch it.

Excellent video as always. But it would have been good to elaborate on bleeding procedure, since that's where most have trouble with this swap. How to use spill proof funnel, where front bleeder located and how to use, etc. Also would have been good to cover what tabs to bend on Koyo when the stock fans don't quite fit, as that is the only fitment issue with koyo and not uncommon.

Seems like my OEM radiator won’t last much longer at 155k since I beat on the car so much.
@Gbari74 жыл бұрын
I got the same radiator and looking through the forums I saw that this Gates 31336 radiator cap fits as well and handles the 16 lbs of pressure required. I still ordered the Koyo one, but it's gonna be more than a week before it comes in. This one's next day Prime delivery so I can go ahead and replace my radiator. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C2WEM8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The oil catch cans are from radium engineering. The important one (PCV side) sits in front of the brake master cylinder. In that location, it's highly recommended to get the petcock for it

Would love to a DIY on how to install a HP Spal fan. Especially the wiring.
@DIYGuysvideo4 жыл бұрын
What is the point?
@livedeliciously4 жыл бұрын
@@DIYGuysvideo There isn't much out there documenting an install on our cars and since the desirable fan versions (high performance and extreme) require more complicated wiring, it would be nice to have something documented. Mounting the fan(s) isn't plug and play since it varies depending on the radiator and the size of fan. The performance level of the SPAL fan also dictates the involvement in how it's wired. The high performance and extreme versions require a separate relay, but moreover, these versions are said to cause a massive power draw on startup. Supposed solutions include wiring in capacitors or some sort of PWM fan controller into the circuit.
@DIYGuysvideo4 жыл бұрын
I guess I just don’t know why I would use one when I’ve been running the stock cooling for tens of track days. First time I’ve heard of these fans tbh

@@DIYGuysvideo I suppose they're more common in forced induction setups. I guess you'll have to do a turbo build first haha.

Have an Check Engine Light and it threw 6 Flashes indicating the ECTS I have the part but it's so difficult to get the rubber boot off to swap it out. Any thoughts?
