Thank you all for watching. At 3:04 I misspoke 😖 The diagrams here are correct. What I meant to say was, if speed of sound increases in the second medium the angle of transmission will be more than the angle of incidence. And visa versa. Apologies for that!

😂😂😂😂… I had to go back to your video on refraction to digest this “new” concept… I wish I had seen your apology before 😂😂😂😂😂

I cannot begin to tell you how much these videos have helped me. Even though they are assumingly for human ultrasonography, the same concepts apply for veterinary, and it has been SUCH a huge help to have these videos as supplementary learning material for the course I am doing at the moment. You are a freaking rockstar, thank you! Your explanations make some relatively difficult concepts easy to understand and you have a gift for visualising concepts and making them relatable to the general ultrasound-studying public! Truly awesome videos, thank you so much!

Awesome videos! I think you may be misspeaking during the refraction explanation. Your explanations about the sound waves slowing down or speeding up seem to be backwards relative to the diagrams (c2>c1; c1>c2)

But the enhancement artefact can also be due to "falsely" applied Time Gain Compensation no?

Hello, thank you so much for your videos. please can you clear up the twinkling artifact? on radiopaedia, it says lower the PRF, but when you read the papers the website sites, they both say to increase the PRF?!? any help would be great

Thank you for the great video. I just have a question regarding Snell's law. You mentioned in the video that "if the speed of sound increases, we will get an angle of transmittance that is smaller than the angle of incidence" but the diagram seems to show otherwise. I've gone through the calculation via the formula and I think if the speed of sound increase in the 2nd medium, the angle should also increase. Pls let me know if there's a mistake in my understanding. Thank you
@radiologytutorials Жыл бұрын
Hello. Not sure I did say that. If I did, do you mind letting me know when in the video so I can highlight the mistake for others? You’re right angle of transmission is higher than incidence of speed increases.
