Couldn't see what screwdriver tip you held up, but seems as you asked: - Phillips is the screwdriver with just the simple plus shape. - Pozidriv is the screwdriver with the extra diagonal bits. The screws are marked to match - Posidrive screws have the extra little lines marked on the head. Phillips is designed for the screwdriver to push out (Cam-out) when too much torque is applied. Pozidriv is designed not to cam-out.

All the screws to take the bac off are hex on mine. Two different sizes through. The ones on top are smaller.

Thanks for the teardown. When putting my SD card back in after adding some firmware I missed card holder and dropped it into the guts of my TX so had to open up the case.No big deal really but your teardown reassured me nothing was going to be a drama (and it was late and I did not want to do it). And as a bonus I got to hear your feedback in your really cool accent. Curiously my case is all held by hex screws but the top two are slightly bigger than the back four (no screws phillips or otherwise). Take it easy.

Część, złącze od LCD jest od spodniej części płyty? Mam nowe radio. Po kilku dniach pokazała mi się pozioma linia na LCD. Na początek chciałbym sprawdzić połączenia ;)

Did the TX16S PCB look like lead-free to you? I'm trying to gauge the risk of getting a TX16S and doing a soldering mod. Your video quality is great and almost lets me tell for sure whether it is lead-free or not but there isn't quite a close enough zoom for me to ensure that the lighting isn't being deceptive.

Hey I plugged a usb cable to charge my 2s battery and now it won’t work. Screen is dark or says emergency mode. Anything I can get to fix it? Or I’m screwed ?

On the radiomaster anyone know how to remove the ribbon in the middle? How does one flip the latch open to release the ribbon cable? Thnx....

Just an FYI when I complained that the transmitter is not charging my batteries this is the reply I got: Hello thank you for contacting RadioMaster. Please open the back cover of the radio. You will find the two black components marked in the picture in the bottom left corner of the radio. Please cut both legs of the two components and remove them from the board. Please replace the back cover of your radio. You can now go ahead and use the USB charging without any problem. This will not affect your radio's performance or warranty, any other problem please let me know and reply to this email so I can follow your case. Best Regards and sorry for inconvenience. can you belief it?? It seems to work now ?!?!?

Does the T16 gimbals fit into the Radiomaster? Please also compare the speakers. As I know, the Radiomaster has very low volume. Otherwise its a great radio

Hello Pawel just received a Radiomaster TX16s but it won't fully charge the batteries via the USB-C port. I use 2x 18650 Li-ion cells. Did you experience any similar problem with charging?

Try using 500mA USB charger. Temperature protection might be kicking in

Thanks will try that. Anyway I've added an XT-60 cable to the battery holder and now I can use my trusty computerized charger to balance charge the cells.

Pawel, can you comment on the interface for the extra switches SI and SJ. It appears from your video that the the pcb tracks are in the same place as the Jumper T16, but are now sockets. Is there anything etched on the pcb to confirm this? See www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=43413181&postcount=7704

I wish someone would make a replacement back plate that completely got rid of those back grip bars and grip nubs. They make the radio thicker and uncomfortable to hold and use for me. Great for carrying with one hand on the side, not so great if you're thumber and you have to stretch your hand and fingers that much wider. SOMEONE MAKE A REPLACEMNET BAKCPLATE FOR THESE ;) 3D print something or something without bars and nubs. I'm tempted to switch to a T18 Lite... just to get rid of the grip bars. At first they were cool and a nice touch, now they just annoy me.

is a boomer the power output is just 65 mW in mine :( , if you have the Jumper T16 keep it

I have noticed that NONE of you people in the process of doing your tear down comparisons are exercising ANY Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions whatsoever. I've noticed some people touching components with metal screwdrivers and other metal pointers without the person wearing a grounding wrist strap. Static electricity does more damage to digital than most people realize. It doesn't have to do catastrophic damage but eventually you will have a radio failure attributed to ESD. Be on the safe side an wear a ESD wrist strap grounding kit. They don't cost but 10 to 15 Dollars US and can save you an expensive airplane or drone. I Cringe EVERY time I watch one of you people tear down a radio !!!
