A video of former RAF and USAF base at Greenham Common, including the GAMA compound that housed the mobile nuclear cruise missiles during the 80's and early 90's. Unfortunately conservationists have managed to remove much of what used to be the longest military runway in Europe and sold the concrete to pay for the demolition of most of the remaining buildings so not a huge amount left to see given how significant the place once was during the cold war. You can even find pictures of the Russians visiting as part of Galsnost on google images. At least the common is returned to public land now - most of which you cannot go on because of nesting birds!
