Steven Seagal use to have some pretty good action films in the early to mid 90’s. Above The Law, Hard to kill, Under Siege and even Under Siege 2 we’re all pretty decent action flicks.
@mattm7798 Жыл бұрын
Above the Law was so much better than it had any right to be lol. I actually liked a couple of his mid 90s movies On Deadly Ground and Fire Down Below....I didn't care for MfD or HtK but Out for Justice was pretty solid. Richie was so psycotic you were rooting for his death about 3 seconds after being introduced to him.

@michaelwestmoreland25302 жыл бұрын
Of course he was never in any real danger. Seagal had iron-clad clauses in his contracts that the main character never be more than superficially injured, after in his first movie, Above the Law, a guy broke his nose, that was the take they used, and he was so embarrassed at how he looked ACTUALLY getting his nose broken he refused to ever be seriously injured in a movie ever again, CITING instead some mumbo jumbo about "As an Akido master, it would reflect poorly on the art to portray being injured" or some such BS.

Michael Biehn > Steven Segal 2:25 Dude, do you even physics? 4:01 An Ithaca 37 (also used by Michael Biehn in at least two movies), one of the longest serving guns of any type from anywhere. I've always found it odd that police would ever use repeating shotguns with short magazine tubes and standard-length barrels. If you ask me, that's just wasted space that could be taken up by a longer tube (preferably flush-fit with the barrel). Either that or put a short barrel on it. For combat and defense, a 14" barrel is ideal (unless the shotgun is a bullpup, then go with 20"). 4:57 In what alternate universe is that a butcher knife? That's a meat cleaver, yo! In the same way that a MAC-10 is not an Uzi, neither is a butcher knife a meat cleaver. 9:38 There is no Desert Eagle in this movie. Segal is using a Colt Combat Elite based on a Para-Ordnance P-14. Yeah, I looked it up on IMFDB (otherwise, I would have assumed it to be a 1911 or any generic clone).
