This engine is genuinely one of my favorite freelance designs ever. It's so quirky and odd looking, and just has this charm that most other engines don't

One of the best minimal railroad locos I have seen. I like your controls. Just like a larger loco. Nicely done

Thanks for the update. It's nice to see that spring has arrived at your place. That's a great engine shed you've built to keep that funky engine out of the weather. Hopefully you'll get a lot more track laid before the weather shuts you down again. Please keep plugging away on your short line.

Looking good. Too bad it is so work intensive to get the rails down. Looks like it will be a blast to run on what ever layout you end up with.

Looks great I enjoy seeing your progress I'm getting ready to build a 3-ft gauge engine and I've also got some seven and a half inch gauge stuff as well I like what you're doing with your railroad and what you did with building your engine really awesome it's very inspirational

Is that compressed air in the nozzle you sprayed in front of the wheel on the track?
@Redundant_Communication2 жыл бұрын
Yup, that's the drain for the tank that runs the horn

Lovely little loco you’ve got there, is it based on the narrow gauge locos produced by Deutz?
@Redundant_Communication2 жыл бұрын
It's inspired by feldbahn engines, so yeah the Deutz locomotives have been a good reference

the Locomotive is charming yet it seems like annoying pile to get running, is it gas or deisel and have you thought to add more torque?
@Redundant_Communication2 жыл бұрын
Only had to jump it since it sat for so long, was behaving better rafter some tune up. It's a single cylinder gas engine so a bit under-powered but It's what I had.

Over a FULL YEAR - and still not much "actual" length of track - well i know what you have been doing, and that's riding the loco. Nothing else as the track would have been extended if you HAD NOT been 'playing with the loco' !!!!!!
