I did this for two years with my mk7 GTI I used for track days before I got my truck, crazy capable machines on and off road with a good driver behind the wheel!

Love the golf R! My dream car would be a 2004 VW R32 with the vr6 engine. I had a 2013 GTI but sold it in January for my 2018 Toyota 4Runner trd off-road cause a baby on the way.

First off, Idaho instant mashed potatoes are 🔥. One of the easiest and better tasting instant potato’s around. This makes me miss my mk6 golf R and mk6 gti. Put it back to stock height, drop to a 17” with a larger tire, but then you’re also going to lose the performance with a fatter tire.

Golf R is the best in class, so mostly like. I wouldn't mind an STI hatch, but people already think I'm 20, and that wouldn't help matters. Evos don't come in hatch, so they're cool, but much less appealing.
