Thrilled you made this video! I’m a Ricky addict! I have 7 in all different Leather,suede,pony hair,cotton 6 in 33 and one black in 40.. I also have a Ricky white bucket. I sold the black as the gold was too loud I found. It’s an underrated bag which deserves more ❤️ love! Thanks Caleb!

My family is a big fan of anything by Ralph Lauren. I never understood why until last year when I came across a small rare, vintage houndstooth purse from theirs. I love wearing neutrals, so the purse somehow always manages to somewhat make any outfit in my closet "Pop!", as some would say. Their products, at least in my experience, are of the best quality and, when taken care of, can definitely last a lifetime.

I agree with your comparison as I have both bags as well. Totally agree the Ricky is more country high end if that makes sense. I also love both as they are so different. Although I have to say for me the Ricky is WAY easier to get in and out of.

I sometimes feel, dont cancel me people, that i actually like the look of the ysl sac du jour, specially bright colours and moc croc. Sometimes i prefer it over a birkin. I like the sizes and the shoulder strap... I'm not surprised other bags could be better than a Birkin. Craftmanship aside

I have my burgundy Ricky 33 but I don’t use it. It doesn’t retain its shape due to the leather not having any structure. It got saggy and I hate that. Love the leather and love the silhouette of the bag but I don’t like the slouchy look. I’m currently rocking my Dooney nano satchel. Goes to show you, it’s not about the brand or the cost. It’s about the look

Great question! So the original Ricky was quite heavy, so they introduced the Soft Ricky. The Soft Ricky is much lighter, but features an interior lining and a moderate structure. The Light Ricky is even lighter, and is unlined and has less structure than Soft or Original. I hope this helps!

Both look so beautiful. But, getting either of them opened looks like a big pain in the a$$. I could never understand why the Birkin is so expensive and so highly desired. It would drive me nuts trying to get it opened. I’m willing to spend $$ on a bag but it has to be functional for daily use. As always, great video, love the side by side compare. 👍
