Late watching this Joey, but replace the gasket on n the cab mounted brake light first. Both sons have a 2015 Ram both leaked in rear. Both were leaks around the light.

Great video! Very informative. I just bought my first pickup last month, a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie with 65000 miles and have been watching a lot of videos on upgrades, accessories, and common issues. To see your video on a 200,000 mile review and it be overwhelmingly positive is a reassuring sign that this can be good truck if you take care of it. The manual says to change the oil every 10,000 but I’m going to do what you do and change it every 5000. Thanks again

Congratulations on your Ram. I’m sure you will enjoy it. Yes 10k is way too long I think.

The water under the back seat is coming from the third or cab brake light. Mine did the the same thing and it’s a 2017 model.

Thank You. I will definitely see if I can get that resealed. I didn’t even think about that.

Also the vents in the back of the cab can leak to causing the floor under the seat to be wet, pretty common on older trucks

My 2019 Classic was leaking where the piece of trim comes off the roof and meets with the top corners of the rear window. There was a small gap that was letting water in. Used some sealant to fill in the gap and solved the problem.

I love your channel. Just wanted to say I worked in the stamping plant that is part of the complex where the classic is built. I have retired now but we built a ton of those classics. Very nice review.

I'll admit I haven't started it yet? But how many camshafts has it ate, Hemi tick, bad lifters, how many transmissions, had the fuel pump module replaced yet, active grill shutters go bad?

Good video Joey! That is still a sharp looking truck. I agree with your oil change interval. Oil is the life blood of an engine. Like you said, take care of it and it'll take care of you! God Bless!

I have the same truck but Mines a v6 outdoorsman. I bought it cause I needed a pickup it's been a great truck no issues just wish I had the v8 but it still does what I need it to do. I use the same oil and I use the knn oil filter seems to be pretty good

Wow! You seem to got a good one! I swear we get the Friday afternoon trucks at work. I had a 2016 Ram 1500 just like your truck but 4wd and V6. I rotated that truck out at around 75-80k after 4 years. Oil changes with the lights every time. Needed tires around 40k it had Goodyear Wrangler kevlar tires they gave good service. I believe I had brakes all around cause it needed it I saw the pads they were close to wearing through. It had a tick at idle. It had the grill shutters go bad. It had a bad fuel pump module that the dealer screwred us on cause it was noted under warranty and then failed after the warranty was over. All kinds of electronic Gremlins, where the screen would go black and you couldn't see radio stations or the back up cam. Randomly couldn't use the window motor controls, replaced the battery and trashed the dirty battery cover. I know the serpentine belt was worn out and had to be replaced..it was loud. That's all I remember right now. And admittedly I AM NOT a Mopar fan. I will honestly say I thought it rode and handled well. The seats were comfortable. But from the issues with it I'm glad I didn't own it personally.

@@Jtwes sometimes, but really I treat them about how I do my own stuff. If it was mine I would do 5k oil changes of course and these were done at 7500-8500. But really none of the problems I had were oil related....ok we could say that the ticking at idle if not normal could be from longer oil change intervals.
