I found the tempo and content refreshing. Who can judge anyone? The world is so busy doing and wanting mass stimuli, this was a great pause...to be still a moment and be.

anyone can have a stroke... and he has actually recover and extremely coherent...and if you think this is only a bed time story... go eat some natural mushrooms... this is coming from a guy who prove to be a genius as a scholar. and a great doctor. his IQ told him psychology alone was just a bed time story... the only mistake was doing too much lsd and not too much mushrooms.... we as humans cannot compare clones with humans...peace to you all.. and be whatever you want... see ill be doing that too as an awareness..thanks ram dass

this is similar to the "THE MYTH OF ER" in Socrates Republic. simply stunning. his speech and his mannerism makes him authentic. many people do not believe karma because the fire of the "TRUTH OF OUR OWN ACTIONS" always scorches. but believe me, if we accept it, the fire is soothing, purifying, elevating and motivating!

Addressing his tone, tempo, and content in this snapshot of his life - the man had a stroke, give him a break. I can fully understand what hes saying, because I've read his books and listened to lectures from other points in his life - And as far as using psychedelics, Ram Dass said in a lecture that as far as he was concerned, Psychedelics were just another form of Yoga - and as a psychedelic yogi, I would agree. Love of Jah - Om

@MegaMaxemus Yes like the ones that are tainting their's by not leaving me alone. I wish harm on no one. I have friends who can't stop to protect me! I try to live without regrets. Good will always =good! And evil will always =evil. Unless there is a an enlightenment, moment of clarity, whatever they would like to call it! Peace to You and Yours, Rob

The question is whether it's the LSD state or the regular waking state that is closer to dissociation and insanity, and there is no science for this. Speaking in terms of toxicity, LSD is, as far as I know, no more toxic than caffeine, it's just a different experience; an experience which many would rather believe is a complete illusion than consider that they've been deceiving themselves all along with their struggles and ego games.

@MegaMaxemus I'm on the same wave length. I venture from the path to learn things that cause potential harm to mankind (not just my loved ones), but if you look at my channel closely you will see it is not about obviously some peeps think it is. My You Tube is streaming so slow it is pitiful. But that's okay! I don't believe in coincidences, so this was meant to happen. Probably to keep my away from some evil doers (as Bush used to say!) LOL

how can we decide what how next incarnation will be? we are saying there is no I that we are the divine expressing itself, Ek Ong Kar… so who is the one deciding? Is it "me", the small little me expressing the divine through this little body and its mind\body' limitations or is it God? Yes, I know…I can imagine someone saying: "But we Are God!" Yes. But …like an oxygen atom in our physical body…we are tiny mimic of God and we happened to grow so intellectually and spiritually advanced that we figured out the bigger picture. I still don't get it. I love and teach Yoga, been in India twice, I watch Alan Watts lectures everyday, as well as Tolle's talks, Mckenna, Ram Dass, Sadhguru, Dr Lipton… ….but what if this, this whole thing I mean. The whole Oness and Non Duality philosophy, the age of the Aquarium, the yogic traditions and wisdoms; me posting picture of myself half naked on to a public website just to get more likes and have the gratification of the likes and views and so on. I guess if you are still reading you kind of understand what I am talking about. Anyway. What if the whole thing is just pure and exquisit fine art? Just a man creation, something that has been transmitted for so long an it has taken so many forms and variations (see religions, doctrines, shenanigans, pantomimes and boisterous cavalcades). Because this is what we do with this developed brain and consciousness, we invent stuff, we pretend, same as any other living being does…we all invent\create to go on, to survive, to do the simple act of being alive, and we all do it with our own level of consciousness (e.g. an ant doesn't know she is an ant because she IS NOT. We call it ant. Our level of awareness created the language that just us humans can decipher…we assigned letters and numbers -which are themselves just symbols drawn by humans- to external phenomena). So we went on an on an on and on and on for millenials… You see I think I understand what Ram Dass or Alan Watts were talking about and they might be perfectly right but STILL: I think humans and humans only, to make sense out of this, to reconcile with science and cerebral needs we came out with this believes. I am just saying, I wish I wasn't still feeling like this, after 34 years, after my whole "knowledge" and experience of this three dimensional life…After all this talking and meditating and eating kale and dates and feeling mother earth and forgiving and bla bla bla bla bla …..yet my feelings of nihilistic avoidance towards everything and this primitive woe that I tote everywhere I go everything I do… After all this I wish I wasn't the one writing the following. I am afraid we are just monkeys jumping from a tree to another, mainly looking for some bananas and mates to jump together with. This knowledge … this amazing high state you get in meditation\yoga\arts or in some tantric practices or by consuming drugs\psychedelics… this feeling of whatever you feel when you are in your zone… it might just be an illusion. A dream of a man's dreams. A nightmare. A reverie. Think about it. Every historical era had different ones. We used to believe in evil witches flying on brooms and giants fire-breathing flying lizards…I mean, wow! Recently we burned ALIVE around 6 million people because they were Jews, not to mention numbers about the Soviet genocides, or the ones happened in postcolonial Africa, the Cold War, the Balkan genocides…..endless list and this was just post WWII. So….would it be possible that we are just entertaining ourselves since this is what we always did with our advanced brains…wearing masks, inventing stuff, creating societies and rules out of absolute pure abstraction? I mean why should I work all my life and live in between two shiny cages to then die in a bigger cage in the countryside or near the sea? why should I pay taxes or using money in the first place. Money, the idea that we call money… all of it, all you can see and use that does not grow from mother nature, everything in your room apart from living being… it has been imagined and creating by a human being. Also the ideas and the believes, and what we call ethic or moral. Flaws, values, power, facebook, the coronavirus…everything that does not grow from mother nature is just man concept. So why, why on earth I should believe in karma or the next time I'll choose better because in this life I've been to India and I listened to Ram Dass or I was super good with volunteering and help the less lucky humans….so I might understand I am creation and creator at the same time. oh yes, how soothing….

I don't know why people think that reincarnation is something good?. Maybe because they still identify themselves as being the body and not the awareness itself. You are sort of dreaming all of this at this present moment until you wake up.😊

As a side note, I'm not saying that everyone should use it and it's Leary's promised panacea for samsara. It's a path like any other, and people should follow, and have the right to follow, the path that suits them best. LSD gets a horrible rap because people face their own karma on it, and blame the drug and culture for the bad experience, and this ignorance and fear drives the anti-drug movement. There is no scientific study which has ever shown that LSD permanently alters brain chemistry.

I see what you're saying, but all forms of sadhana have negative side effects-sitting in cross legged meditation for 30 years will kill your back and knees. If you eat nothing but pine nuts and drink water, you get vitamin deficiency. The bottom line is that there are people who find LSD useful in a yogic context, and overcome the mind noise to find that deeper space within, and people like Ram Dass give this view validity. Even Neem Karoli Baba said it could be a useful experience.

That's 'bull shit'. The famous NY Yankee catcher, Larry Berra, called himself 'yogi' and that was what he will remain. Yogi Berra! And what about Yogi Bear? Batmanoberst, you are a very simple 'lad'.
