I have to say this. I've seen a lot of rammsteinvideo's with reactions of american people. But you are farout the best I've seen till now. You don't stop the video every 10 seconds and start talking a lot. You care for the lyrics the are very important to understand Rammstein complete. More than that, first you start with reading the lyrics in english so every english speaking person will get it too. I like that a lot. I'm living in the south east of the Netherlands a few miles away from the border with germany. I grew up with german words, so I understand everything they sing well. But most of the american reactions were irritating me, because of what I said here before. Till I saw your reactions and the way they were build up. I;m an old rocker of 59, and music helped and helps me throughout my life, the fun things and the tragic bad things. And your reactions, I saw your react on "dicke Titten" too... you were smiling and now on Zeit you are crying. This says 2 things about you, you understand what music stands for and what it can do with you and you're a beautiful person with human feelings and not afraid to show them to the world. Then you shouldn't be watching any reaction channel at all, since the meaning itself is "reacting", it should be in the moment. If there is a beautiful lyric, beautiful guitar riff or anything at all, you have to stop it and tell your mind about it. It's the nature of the reacting, lol.

I start listen to Rammstein in 1997 at 25 years old and my daughter had 1 year old, im now 50, my daughter 25, time is an unbeatable ennemy, you can just live your life with the people you love the best way you can and don't look behind its already to late...In 1997 if you had told me one day Rammstein will make me cry, certainly i will have laugh! But god this one got me!!

I first listened to the song and watched the video without a translation and was in bits. Once I had the translation in front of me that was it, I was in a heap. Such a beautiful, beautiful song that punched me right in the gut for so many reasons.

Rammstein always deliver something amazing and thought provoking. We all have those perfect moments we wish we could return to, but time keeps going forwards. We lose friends and family on the journey and they lose us. Makes one think hard about what matters and to put life into the years. With what's going on in the world right now it is heart breaking that people are having their time stolen.

My mother is having surgery right at the time where I am writing this and I can't even be there because it's only allowed to have one visitor per day. Not the first time I watch this video, but I swear there is not a single time where I am not in tears. Time is inviolable. It won't let us take a step back, and we can't prevent what comes next. That is brutal. The song is melancholic and euphoric at the same time because it reflects these feelings - but also shows that we should value and use our time.

The faint slow tempo piano and woman's (although I presume is done by a male) vocals almost "siren" like. Forcing you to wonder, and listen. This sets the stage for the lyrics and filmography to make the message bold and clear. I don't know German, maybe just a few words, but I knew the song and what it meant by listening and seeing the video. True, raw, reality of existence in time and space. Dark and light. Reflected back with our minds perception. It's almost as if the song is now an animated painting with audible paint in my mind, a masterpiece.

I feel you, form a young age my biggest fear always was loosing my loved ones, and as time is going on it is a fear we all have to face someday. I have lost my mother to braincancer way to early, it took half a year for her from beeing the most lively loving person i've ever known to a shadow of herself and another month until she was gone. All the pain I had to see her going trough kinda made me numb. And eaven though is the years have passed, that nunbness never completly left. I know now that only thing we have is the time we were "given".. Not more not less.

Another thing that came to my mind about the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? This is art at its finest..a true Masterpiece!!

Beautiful video, thank you for this. I've been a fan of Rammstein since i first heard them in 1997. They were the only band that did not stick to pleasuring people with happy notes and themes, they are not affraid to question the meaning behind our existence, not affraid to dig into the evil that we do during the short time we have on this world, the beauty that hides in our nature, the pain we endure in our everyday lives. Most complete and poetic band today, that is for sure. I went to their concert four times, the last one was in Klagenfurt on May 26...and when they played this song i was overwhelmed and started to cry. I'm not ashamed, i've been through alot for the last 10 years, dealing with sickness, death, separation and all kinds of disasters, so this one realy hits hard. One moment - you are on the top of the world, and then, in a blink of an eye you start losing everything and everyone you ever cared for. It is life, i know...but hurts nevertheless. And Rammstein allways knew how to bring your emotions to the braking point. If nothing - i am glad and grateful for living in a time of their presence, being able to see them live and experience the unity and the power of the "broken ones".
