This is what i call... a good camera man! If he zooms in he keeps the plane in frame and he zooms out when its close! Very Nice plane btw!

The plane is so small and fast, it's amazing how he can keep the orientation of the plane in the air. I have tried flying RC planes (Gliders) in the past, which are relatively large and slow, and I would end up losing orientation and crashing.

Hahaha this is just mad Ramy, you put so powerful motor to this poor thing I was waiting just to disassemble in the air - well done man. For all those who ask abut power here "Motor HobbyKing's HK 2830 at 2810kv" which is just a beast for a small plane like this but gives it a monster power and I see he is flying it at v50% thrust most of the time, few times triggered the stick to 70% tops. Nice mod Ramy I know you did this on purpose :D best

Nice you might want to step a few feet away when arming your models with Spektrum if you switch on while the the transmitter is too close to the receiver you get a brown out you still have control but you rx flashes instead of being solid.

FANTASTIC! Can you list the electronics you used that motor is obviously something special I would love to see experiments with that motor and an appropriately sized 3 blade prop - the sound will be spectacular - is that a 4 cell lipo? Can you list perhaps where you purchased the Lidl?

Darren-Edward Oneill it's not the Lidl, it's from Lidl - it's a German shop here in UK a super market special buy they have limited stock on special items that they wouldn't normmsly sell ect in the shop at mad prices and once they go they go never come back maby next year but basically "special" one off buys.

I will draw it up for you no problem but I expect it will be a hotwire challenge unless cut in cross sections - so I would design it with that in mind but exclude the built in limitations since this thing wasn't really designed for performance RC there are minor tweaks to the form that can be incorporated in the drawing that will enhance it's performance - not that it isn't an amazing performer already. With a redraw in CAD I can include the hollowed out area, control surfaces, servo pockets and a battery recess. It's a clarke Y airfoil but a double tapered wing

If the motor is running really hot you could try propping it down a bit? Shouldn’t be that hot - won’t last very long!

These were on in lidl again a few weekes ago and i got a second one. Then my uncle had some servos lying around that he gave to me and i put into it so now i have a glider thats controllable and i tow it with my flite test bloody wonder. Still want to get another motor to stick into it though......

Ranjita Singh depends on the aircraft, but in most of times, with « regular » aircraft shape , the CG must be located at the wings. Remember that it’s always better to have a nose heavy plane Nose heavy plane flies badly But tail heavy plane flies once (and crashes)
