Random Thoughts On GDC

In which I have returned from the Game Developers Conference and ramble on about it

Personally I'm always more interested in the thoughts and experiences of someone who's journey has been something other than straightforward. It's all well and good watching someone talk about releasing a game on time, within budget, etc, but I don't learn as much from those people. I've been following your progress on Manifold Garden for about a year now and seeing you on Twitch every few days is great inspiration for me to keep going when I'm really struggling for motivation. If nothing else, I for one only want to see your game when you're happy with it.

I heard about Manifold Garden a few years ago thanks to your GDC talks, and remembered the name just yesterday on a whim. Don't worry about how long it takes, just keep up the positive attitude! I'll be keen to play the game once it's ready :D

It's nice to hear about those positive moments you had at gdc! It makes me remember similar encouraging moments of my own. I Seeing the dramatic lighting I was bracing for something bad, haha. I also like the editing in the video, it flows well.

It was 3:11 when I realized you were trying to seduce me with your hair. In all seriousness, this is pretty well produced. It's good to get some more vlogs from you in any form, but this one does look quite nice. The simple clean look and dramatic light from the window feels thoughtful. Always wishing I could go out to GDC. Maybe one of these years when I can afford to go full time again.
