Might be because they can’t afford to produce enough to put it on retail sites. So doing kickstarter today get some money to produce more
@youronlybro9708
@youronlybro9708 4 жыл бұрын
@@PhantomGanhdi the price is simply not worth it at this point. Most of these itx cases cost around 400$ (around the price of a full tower) and by the way , some of these kickstarters have been on for YEARS, and still supply is limited , shipping is long, price is high. Anything not in retail is simply not worth it at this point.
@PhantomGanhdi
@PhantomGanhdi 4 жыл бұрын
@@youronlybro9708 true but just because it is an itx case does not mean that the retail price has to be lower compared to an atx case. If the time, design, and material cost went into it then the price can be justified even if the case is smaller. If the itx case market does not have many well made and designed itx cases then a new company can raise the price and charge more if they so want because there is not much competition and not many good case designs compared to theirs.

@youronlybro9708
@youronlybro9708 4 жыл бұрын
@@Omniverse0 and also, the issue is not only cost, the fact that I need to make a donation at kick starter or buy it from their website where they manufacture only 20 pieces a time. So I have to wait 7 months+ for a 500$ case. I refuse to pay them an amount when there are other ITX/ATX manufacturers who deliver me faster products at cheeper prices in convenient retail stores like amazon. More and more of these cases keep getting into kick starter and wasting our time.

@@BrunoMaskulado03 Knowing improvement from prototype to production is kind of pointless. Whether the product model does worse or better, that's what it will be regardless. With glass panels it will likely be very hot especially with any CPU over 120W TDP. Anything below with a good 120 AIO (which the case supports) or something like a Cryorig C7G will be manageable for stock, or maybe even a small OC, especially if you manage voltages manually.

@theunholybakery1990
@theunholybakery1990 5 жыл бұрын
Actually, the temps are lower than the 3900x's. And it's like a ~95w tdp, so it's possible. A bit toasty but possible.
@josephyang3260
@josephyang3260 5 жыл бұрын
dellrizlonian I agree my 3950x says in the documentation and on a sticker that came with mine that it needs at least an AIO. I mean mine is running at 50 degrees idle rip. My moms 3900x runs at around 39 degrees
@dellrizlonian
@dellrizlonian 5 жыл бұрын
@@josephyang3260 The AIO recommendation was lousy tbh. It doesn't need that much cooling, I believe they officially mentioned a 280mm radiator. A 240mm was proven to be more than sufficient. Aircooling it would be fine, just not aircooling it on such a dinky heatsink. I had an L9a on a Ryzen 1600 in a similar sized case and it could not keep the temps under 80c.
@dellrizlonian
@dellrizlonian 5 жыл бұрын
@@theunholybakery1990 It's possible in the sense that the CPU will throttle performance down to compensate for the insufficient cooling. The L9a just isn't cut out to deal with the thermal density of the Ryzen 3950X (or 3900X). Even Noctua's own recommendations on their website state that the clock speed will be below the base clocks. Also, no. The 3950X is not like a 95W TDP. 6 of the 16 cores under load will draw around 105w, 8 cores sees that go up to 120w, 10 cores will see it peak at 145w and beyond that the power draw will taper off back down to 125w as the voltage and clockspeeds drop down under a full load. See Anandtech for the source on those numbers. The L9a is meant for "65w TDP" CPUs, with good ventilation a "95w TDP" CPU is doable. Good ventilation is not having a glass panel less than 20mm from the fan blades nor is it a single choked intake from the bottom of the case.

I want this big time, so I can shrink my PC down to this size, all I'd need is to buy a Mini Itx AM4 board and new cooler. Most of my friends say to STAY AWAY from gaming laptops as they can break and have zero reparability. so this case is idea for all my gaming and editing power.

OOOF... those thermals are going to be terrifying. Air cooling (despite Noctua) on a 3950X with the glass sides? Optimum Tech tested this case and thermals were brutal unless you were running an AIO (still hot), and he used a 9900K. I built a 9900K / 2080Ti ITX system in a Ghost S1 for a friend, and we needed the tophat and a Kraken X52 (with aftermarket Noctua fans) to keep it within good cooling spec, and it has way better ventilation than this case. The Mjolnir looks nice with good potential, but put your thermals as priority 1.

It’s an awesome looking case. Simple, sleek, and elegant. It just shows on the price of the case.

nice little hot box you have there... that cooler will not cool the 3950x and the 2080Ti next to the glass won't work either. are you new to this?

I love Microcenter. Every time my wife goes in there with me she groans because she knows I'll be looking around for hours. Btw, you forgot to put the links to the RAM in the description.

Sick! Exactly the kind of case I've been looking for! Building a full tower these days seems so silly, imho.

I'd go for the Ghost S1 over this FYI. Lots of options, better airflow... outstanding quality. I've built in one.

@@CashmereSky aye, it is perhaps top 3 amongst SFX cases when it comes to the best performance, airflow, build quality and ease of usage. It is however: miserably expensive.
