I find it confusing what is a Sephora and what is a Drugstore brand. It should be categorised based on price points. For ex. The Inkey List and COSRX is in Boots - the biggest drugstore in the UK yet nobody calls them Drugstore in the US. I imagine a lot of K-beauty and J-Beauty are also in Asian drugstores.

I am so glad to hear you complain about glass packaging. I have felt like such an outcast because our family actively searches out plastic packaging whenever possible, and it seems like the entire rest of the world is so against plastic. I don't like the feeling or weight of glass, and you are absolutely right in that glass in the bathroom is beyond stupid. In addition, glass is no longer recyclable in my community, so our family's decision to avoid glass has cut the amount of trash we generate weekly by almost half! We are a family of 7, so it's quite a big difference to what we are contributing to the landfill!

FAB keeps me around because it was made by someone who suffers with eczema so that’s why they gear more towards gentle and for sensitive skin. I know usually I can trust whatever they make won’t irritate my skin 🥰

Hey there. I thought that YTTP Superfood cleanser was drying until I noticed that the trial size that I purchased was the old version with ascorbic acid. Once I bought the new cleanser reformulation with tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, I realized it is SO much more gentle and I enjoy it more than the krave matcha hemp cleanser. It's possible the same happened to you!

@@jhvoorhies yeah you were right, based on the website there are 29 ingredients listed. I read the back of my ingredient list for the sample bottle and there’s only 20 ingredients. So I might have an old formula too. I didn’t think the cleanser was too drying. I have a few dry flakes in certain areas of my skin but other than that I didn’t get that super tight feeling. It was slightly drying but not that bad.

Farmacy’s honey moon glow aha serum has changed my life! I had horrible cystic acne that left me with scars, and that has by far been the top product to help get rid of the scaring. I have combo skin, and I’m always for the glowy dewy look...Glow Recipe was fantastic. The watermelon series is great...and the papaya balm will always be step one of my evening skin routine.

I am loving Farmacy Daily Greens moisturizer. Nothing has ever made my skin feel as supple. Often moisturizers will absorb so quickly and my skin begins to feel slightly tight, but Daily Greens seems to keep that softness in my skin. The first time i used it, I actually thought "wow, is this how fully hydrated skin actually feels?!" And I actually love the smell! Sort of mediciney but too overpowering. Smells clean to me. Excited to try the cleansing balm next!

Farmacy's clean bee and YTP's super food cleanser inflamed and dried my perioral area but I think my experience is not typical. FAB's radiance peel pads surprised me by being super effective without any irrational whatsoever. I stock up whenever I can. Love your videos James!

I just wanna say one thing in regards to the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and that is... I'm disappointed I didn't use it sooner lol. I have been using it since last month for my hands and I love it. It moisturized my hands so well that when it finishes I will buy another. Yes it is 34-36 dollars but it's so worth it and it'll last a long time.

You did another video where the get on my face now are Krave, The Inkey List and Paula's choice. And for the K-skincare it was Cosrx, Dear Klairs, Glow Recipe, E Nature. I saw a comment on that video to see your advice on famous European brands such as Garnier, L'Oréal, and Nivea. I personally use organic skincare, if you know some of these brands I would like your opinion (I think they are european/french brands I know they have pretty good ranking on Ici Beauty): I use "Nectar of Bio" ( a day and a night hydrating cream and the peeling detox), "Léa Nature So'Bio ētic" ( the hydration aloe vera cream), "La Beauté Bio" (eye cream), "Le Petit Oliver" (makeup removal it is not organic but it is silicone and paraben free with 95% from natural origin), "Garnier Bio" (Cleansing Gel), "Natura Siberica" (instant glow face mask), "AN All Nature" (roll'on deodorant with alum stone) and I have a serum I know it isn't organic but don't know if it is good or bad for the skin and if it is actually doing something, it is from The Body Shop: Drops of light (pure healthy brightening serum).

Hi James! I love your videos! Thank you so much for helping my learn and craft a skincare routine that is best for me and make me a more educated consumer. I would only disagree with two of your ranking. Dr. Jart is a get on my face brand for me. The Dr. Jart sunscreen has been an absolute game changer for me. I am completely hooked on it. It is a bit pricey, but it is the only fave sunscreen I have ever used that doesn’t cause me to break out even when I reapply it all day! Also, I love FAB because their BarriAIR cream is so light for my skin, I don’t need a lot of moisturizer before it starts to feel heavy and clogs my pores. I’m so obsessed with it and have been using it for almost a year!

Dr.Jart is honestly one of my favourite brands but if you're skin is oily and more or less healthy their products definitely won't be for you. I feel like a lot of their focus is on skin barrier repair which people shouldn't really be trying to repair something that isn't broken. However for me and my eczema ravaged skin their products are awesome. They have a whole line devoted to ceramides which have shown promising results in studies to eczema prone skin. So if you're a dry, sensitive eczema baby like me then I really reccomend Dr.Jart

I wanted to like that FAB moisturizer so bad. I actually do, and I absolutely love eucalyptus, but I learned the hard way that this is the absolute worst moisturizer to use on irritated/damaged rosacea skin. The eucalyptus oil in the original version burned my face during a flare so bad, I briefly considered going to the hospital due to the swelling and pain. I know that I'm normally not allergic because when I don't have a flare, my skin doesn't react nearly as bad and I can use it on my body (and I use eucalyptus from other brands all the time on my body with no reaction).

I will say (maybe in warning?) that the red line from FAB, the one for oily and acne prone skin, was SUPER drying for me and the moisturizer in the line couldn't come close to making up for it. Just in case anyone was considering it, keep in mind it's pretty strong.

I’ve been using the FAB Niacinamide serum and I like it! I wouldn’t say it’s groundbreaking or different from any other Niacinamide serum I’ve used. The applicator is a little weird tbh, but again it’s a good basic Niacinamide serum
