What are your views on Atlanta, Charlotte ,and Washington DC?

All three are fast becoming tech-focused cities. Big tech is opening offices (Amazon HQ2 in DC for example) and their startup scenes are blooming. DC is a pricy, but all are solid options if you want to get ahead of the curve of tech migration.

I would rather see what type of tech jobs, the quantity of tech jobs, and competitiveness for each city. We all have already known California and New York City are pricey. Give us some numbers like median housing price and salary. Simply identifying high cost cities is useless info. I am surprised that you left Washington DC metro out. The dc metro area definitely has more tech jobs (e.g. information security, software development) than Chicago. 4 major defense contractors (Lockheed Martin, general dynamics, Northrop Grumman, Boeing) are headquartered in this region. They produce many job openings for aerospace, electrical, AI, computer and information systems.
