I was never particularly a Kid Rock fan, but my favorite ex-boyfriend, Fred, (who didn't live to see age 50) was. Fun story: His older sister had dated one of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd members back in the '70s, and Freddie was still in touch with them. They would invite Fred to go backstage with them when they were on tour, and on one of those trips, he met Kid Rock. Fred was so starstruck, he just stood there speechless as they shook hands!
