Don't you disrespect me or anyone in the demeanor that you responded. I can have a conversation or would openly listen to what you have to say but don't come across like that. Nobody will tread lightly for you. Like I said though that's what apparently happened with the song coming about. Whether that happened or not that's just what's out there on it. It makes perfect sense. Unless you can somehow prove that that didn't happen that's what happened. I used to bump into Toby when I lived in Norman, OK on the reg. I was in ROTC at OU AT the time and he always took a moment to talk to me. Man has so much respect for the uniform and scrafice. He's 100. Sad to see him now as he's going through cancer treatment and has lost 60lbs.

Whatever is going on in our govt now aside, 9/11 was an insanely emotional time and this song still brings me to tears every time I hear it. Thank you for sharing that bit of your personal story. I completely resonate with the sentiment. Many of us as young adults get sucked into some pretty crazy beliefs about life in America. Having kids, paying bills and growing up tends to draw us back to the love for our Flag/Constitution that was instilled in childhood.

Toby Keith’s song Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue came out in 2002. It was considered Toby’s 9/11 anthem. He was expressing what our country was feeling. I saw him in concert at a military base in Hawaii when our son was stationed there. Toby was very patriotic and loved this country. He will truly be missed. RIP. God speed! 😢🇺🇸🙏

Yes me too and unfortunately it's always the Americans who have to have some negative comments. Why does he have to bring up the government on this video for example when he himself guessed it was to do with 9/11? The staging? Well i know my brother-in-law who died in tower one trying to save lives working for the FDNY on that day didn't think about any staging when he lost his life. Watching Americans today react to this just makes ME an angry American. RIP Toby Keith, you sir were a true patriot!
