Back in the very early 2000's it was actually cover versions from some of my favourite bands that got me into Maiden. This one and Arch Enemy's version of Ace's High are just so fucking good. I've seen all 3 bands live multiple times but Maiden are a band that everyone should see- living legends.

The vocals take a lot of technique, If you watch interviews with people like Will Ramos from Lorna Shore and or Devin Townsend , they talk about vocal coaching and doing vocal exercices to be able to sing metal the way they do. A lot of people argue that it's just screaming and isn't hard to do at all, but in reality, it's very technical in nature and requires quite a bit of practice and patience.
@dcmastermindfirst94182 жыл бұрын
Lol. Dani has a 5 octave vocal range. He doesn't need technique.
Do all cradle of Filth songs please for the love of the filth
@grav78172 жыл бұрын
This would be some great background jams to get some serious hard work done! There is a track by liquid tension experiment called acid rain and the live video is insane! Not that it's related at all, but streetlight manifesto is just as impressive in a different way, equally great musicianship in a different genre. Thanks for the great stuff boys!

You guys need to check out their cover of Ozzy's Mr Crowley. Yes it is an Iron Maiden song from their Number of the Beast album. Cradle of Filth gives Dark/Goth Extreme Metal a whole new meaning. Venom I believe started the "growl/scream style vocals back in 1978 and Celtic Frost was another in early 80's but Death really defined it, early 80's as well...R.I.P. Chuck.
