I hope to experience the joy of using Simon's bow before year ends. I'll probably keep smiling like you have.

@@RobinhoodarrowsRHA wow... That is a long wait. I haven't placed an order yet thinking it takes 3 to 4 months only and I wanted to have it delivered by December. I have to act earlier then.

I have 50# for myself. Very quickly became my favorite. And I have half a dozen of similar bows . You forgot to mention how easy it is to string , comparing it to other asiatic bows.

I use a throughly self modified 62 pnds at 29 inches Bodnik Horsebow which I am happy with and that baby seems much more elegant and softer. Wish I could have one ☝️ I need a fast Turkish Bow first.

Okay Question. Have you tried ever shooting a compound bow. I absolutely love my compound and as much as I try to go to recurve and try and try i did... it never compares to the shot of my 70lbs compound....

Kev, New subscriber here!! I’m just getting into this kind of archery, I would love one of these as a next bow but for now I can’t afford to buy a premium bow with my lack of experience. Have you seen the bearpaw horseman? It’s 52” and looks similar in style to the raptor, do you think that would make a nice little stepping stone bow before slashing the cash on one of these? Thanks mate. Steve

learn tumb release!!!! you are even doing nice forward khatra, you will do really well with thumbring for sure. it will compliment this bow so much
@Daylon914 жыл бұрын
He isnt doing any khatra. You see see there isnt any tension in the bow when he moves it down that one obvious shot. U can do khatra with all releases and bows so thumb draw isnt necessary and many nations that used asiatic recurves shot slavic or even Mediterranean with the arrow on the right side.
@rblackmore14454 жыл бұрын
@@Daylon91 khatra doesnt have to be that exaggerated tilt of the bow. its actually a very subtle push ....
@Daylon914 жыл бұрын
@@rblackmore1445 oh I know but not every bow movement can be regarded as "khatra" unless it works the same way. I used to call what my ancestors (Sioux) push khatra. When they pushed the bow upon release. It technically isnt khatra
@Daylon914 жыл бұрын
@@rblackmore1445 it's a "subtle push" when the bow is longer when its shorter it's more obvious and with smaller ones u want to put more tension forward instead of "a subtle push" because you can and it's easier.
@rblackmore14454 жыл бұрын
@@Daylon91 the more obvious you make the movement the less acurate and consistent the shot is. if you want to shoot further than 10 meters moving the bow too much is no good, in most cases you will actually make your shot slower instead of faster.

@eqlzr25 жыл бұрын
I wonder if there is any potential downside to referring to bows (or any similar device) as a "weapon"? I suppose there are people who feel it is their duty/cause to remove "weapons" from the hands of the public. A "bow" maybe not so much. At least for the time being. ;-)

Unfortunately buy this bow from Brasil would be outrageously expensive.
@RobinhoodarrowsRHA6 жыл бұрын
Because of exchange rates?
@rodolfosjeronimo92746 жыл бұрын
Mainly that, and the taxes that the brazilian customs office charges.
