Lecrae dropping some good wisdom here. It's true looking back I had alot of heart issues and I was that "turn up for Jesus" guy, used that rhetoric to jack myself up emotionally and since i was saying that it would get me on an emotional high that masked my issues so they were never properly dealt with. So working daily with Jesus and letting the words flow naturally out because of true change rather than feeling the need to say "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" all the time to talk yourself into growth. The Bible says you judge a tree by its Fruit, so you just have to look at your life and see if its produces what the Lord loves. That's real.

***** I really can't stand people like you. You come one here just to critique, hate, and criticize someone who's trying to make a difference in the world. What have you done with your life that makes you so high and mighty that you can sit back like your on some sort of throne and judge someone for trying to save people just because you don't approve of the way he does it. It's not a backlash from secular music fans that Christian rap artists have to fear. It's the walking on eggshells, and the constant criticism from Christians, the people who are supposed to be supporting him, that drag down the genre. One dude finally breaks it into the mainstream, preaching God's love instead of hate, and the best thing you can think to do with your time is sit back and criticize him. I've seen a couple of your comments on this video. Stop being so self righteous.

He's not concerned with his long time fans, his Christian fan base. That's what I'm saying. He's not going to stay in a lane he no longer feels called to just to please his "core" fans. Reaching lost souls is his calling. At least that's what he's clearly said numerous times. That's what I meant by appealing mainstream, the rest of the world who's not Christian. His beats are different and his flow has changed, again appealing to the "mainstream." If you're already saved than you don't need saving. He's sharing God's love with those who haven't found it. You may not like it. You may even hate his new sound or approach, but that doesn't give you an excuse to criticize someone who's devoted his life to serve what he feels is God's calling; especially on a public platform.

***** I hope you don't think this a personal attack on you, because it's not. I don't know you. I just don't think it's necessary to publicly bash someone for trying to live for Christ; someone who is trying to get others to do the same. Regardless or your intentions.

Just from personal experience, I hear his name a lot more from non-Christians giving him respect now than I did before. No doubt he was and always is going to reach them, he just seems to have finally found his place in a way where he can reach them more. Who knows, you could be right? Maybe he did reach more souls prior. I doubt it, but who knows? What I do know is that hating on him publicly reaches 0 souls and that if he is doing what he feels God has called him to do, you, I, or anyone else have no right to criticize him or suggest that he do something differently.

He can be wrong. He's human. He's doing God's will he's not God. If he started preaching lyrics that go against the scripture than he'd be going against God's will and he'd obviously wrong. But he's not doing that so I don't see what your problem with him is. Personally, I didn't like him for the longest time, but I never bashed him because I knew there were millions of people who did and that he had a calling. He makes good music and he's preaching God's word. Like I said, I don't get what your problem with him is.

Listened to the album. One of the best things I've ever heard. Preached the gospel to me more than any of today's popular "worship" music. Love from Jordan.

I think what the peole in this comments are missing is this is not meant to be a cd to outright tell the gospel. It is more of a testimony album. He is addressing real issues to him and who he is and how he feels.... not every album is going to be a "rap worship" album ... and you have to think about his audience he is trying to reach... he is trying to say " hey i struggle with wanting to do those things too, but I know they arent right and here is why..... here is an alternative" God choose people like tax collectors and fisherman to do his work because he knew they could reach others like them ... and that is what He is doing with Lecrae.... Lecrae is human he wont always get it perfect... BUT his heart is in the right place to change the world of his kind of music with his testimony and how Jesus changed him.....

The Word of God says the devil will come like a wolf in sheeps clothing seeking whom he may destroy. I don't believe that a follower of Christ should tear down other believers! We should speak words of life. I believe in lecrea because my conviction is that I should help the movement he is a part of. Not tear it down!

I understand where a lot of you guys are coming from. How he's changed his direction with his delivery/falling into the " false doctrine" direction many take, and some of you gave examples (creflo dollar, etc) HOWEVER i'm content. i can honestly say i don't see what the deal is. think about where you been up until now and see if you changed the level of your walk and how you deliver God's word. have you began to reach that hard to reach crowd with God's word to save them, or are you still on the same task you were on when you FIRST began your walk? i do believe God is using him in a remarkable way. look at hip hop now and days "RAP" music it turned into .. i don't even know what to call it, lol its pathetic but these "rappers" have the attention of this generation growing up. which is verrrrry hard to reach. only thing on there mind is money, sex, men calling other men babe, my boo and thinking its okay even wearing feminine like clothing. BLINDLY the youth follow. that BEAT grabs them, the STYLE, AND I FEEL whatever leads them use it to your advantage and show a different direction. slick it right on in there. But pray first then go about God's mission (removing your self and allowing God) smh. Lecrae, Mali Music, all these artist whos music is crossing over reaching the other side got there from understanding the world we're in now, they understand how to attract the people who wouldn't listen to gospel or christian rap music even on a SUNDAY! so to represent God and be accepted and get people to see "Hey we can do this, listen to that, God is good" ..then by all means. we cannot even slightly reach and convince them that God said this, and God said that, with the same approach that was used back then OBVIOUSLY IT DIDN'T WORK TOO WELL. His approach is on point. the old way of preaching and the standards of how a christian should be is not going to always be the way to go. Not saying do what YOU want the way YOU think it should be done. what i'm saying is the way things use to be done, may not be the right approach on the generation thats BODLY mocking God and satisfying satan. instead of bashing our fellow believers, give him credit at least for boldly representing God and reaching the attention of those who reject Christ or dare to speak of Him. PRAY for him if you feel he's so wrong BROTHERS AND SISTERS and stop picking out flaws as if he said he walked on water or something.PUBLICLY bickering, and casting out other believers as if we can't unify at all. like kids showing out in the store with the parents as if they don't have home training. christians are under enough attack, why start mess against our own. Let God judge and throw away bad fruit. He doesn't need you to come in with your cape and save the day. thats not your job focus on your walk. none of us are perfect.and we need to stick together what sense does it make picking and pulling each other apart to prove who knows the word and who represents God in a better way. You think he cares who has the best strategy?? REPRESENT HIM GOD is in control not us or did we forget? so if he's false teaching and doing oh so wrong i'm sure God can handle it,and i promise you guys, lecrae won't succeed in his" oh so evil plan" to destroy Gods image" smh don't you worry!!lol smh dang i wrote a book sorry lol. i still don't feel i made my point but yall get it lol! EACH ONE REACH ONE and he's reaching! lol Praise God and pray His will be done 116!!!!!!!!!!! love you guys ANDY MINEO YOUR AWESOME Praise! To GOD be the glory!! GOD BLESS and be about His business times running out
