Hey Ken very nice to see that you guys did such a super great job putting my bike back into original running condition! Yes it certainly does pull like a freight train alright! From personal experience I can tell you that at 530 lbs. it will still pull the front wheel off of the ground. One of the first times I had this bike out I did this just pulling away from a light in a hurry...not ever meaning too LOL. Has enough torque even in 5th. gear to pull without having to downshift too often. Anyway the power, convenience of shaft drive, air ride suspension front & rear were all factors in why I never needed another bike after this one...I really miss riding it!

Kaplan got your ears on ? Got a friend who recently came across a triumph B-25 scrambler locked up that sat outside with no spark plug in it. Its pretty much all there . I notice the other night its still got the original side reflectors on the front an back at least on the right side . He told me he doesnt know a thing about then and bought it to sell . He paid $25 bucks for it and will take $200 cash . Donelson Cycle in St.Louis still carries parts for them. He even has a small museum of the triumphs of the B-25 and B-50 he used to race . What do you think ? Im going over to visit my friend to loan him a buffer for his wheels . Ill ask him more about his B-25 ...

I have this same bike. All stock except a Delkavic stainless 4 into one. Mine has the Windjammer fairing with lowers and hard bags. Runnin' sumbitch! Plated and insured. I also have a very nice 83 Spectre 1100 plated and insured also. I almost sold them over this winter. Thank God I came to my senses!

This is one of Kawasaki's best...you can't get a better touring bike and I owned 3 Honda VFR's. Smooth , power at the flick of your wrist and all the torque you need . PK

I would rather have that than most new bikes being built today. That thing is a Tank ! Quality built and reliable, strong enough to go as fast as you want to go ! There are several motorcycles from this era that are better in Quality and riding than new ones today. Beautiful !

I can’t believe it’s condition. My Son and I bought a 80 cb900c Honda sitting in a Body Shop , he needs to paint it but it’s running better than new. It had not been touched since 86 ,except to pick it up off the floor when ever it would get knocked over. He is about to paint it for me. It’s my new rider ! It out fuses most bikes made today. Air ride adjustable front and rear, rubber mounted engine, trans ect. 10 speed, 5-town, 5-highway. Smooth and very responsive. We changed a few things. Handle bars, exhaust, header, re-covered seat ect, service, brakes ect mostly sitting with 20,000 miles showing. I will ride this bike Happily , until someone buys it or I die ? Whichever comes first ! Hahahaha ! My Son is excellent mechanic ! I’m Blessed ! Let the fun begin ! 😂

My best friend died and his son gave me one identical to yours same condition except small tear in seat stitches. Anyhow have a problem with hi n low beam. Bulb looks good but high stopd working when you turn the key on do you have power going to both wires at same time???

I've got a kawasaki Z1100 A1 in the UK. It pulls like a train and has over 50,000 miles on the clock. I noticed the speedo on your bike only goes up to 80mph, mine in the UK goes up to 160 mph. Although it won't do 160mph.. The top speed is about 135mph. Plenty fast enough.

Are those Headers "Original" as they have signs of discoloration, which tells me this bike must have ridden pretty hard over the years. The "Original Headers" are usually double skinned.
