Exactly, once in a nightmare I had as a kid and I was running away from something kid me considered as “scary,” I hid under my blanket and literally merged with it, so when the monster lifted the covers up, he didn’t find me, ‘cuz I was literally knitted onto the bottom side of the blanket Saved my life and to this day I still sleep in my blanket fort (aka, the bottom bed on my bunk bed, with every possible view of the perimeter outside of the bed covered up with blankets)
