So I need to step in to defend the mice since people say they’re responsible for the ugly dress. Cinderella was looking to update her mother’s dress before she got called away for work. The mice used the instructions that she intended to use and made the alterations that she was planning to make. So yeah. Don’t blame the mice’s bad design skills. They were just making the dress look like what Cinderella wanted.

Damn shame her stepsisters were spoiled,jealous crab buckets and tore it up because the materials were items they threw out. I only say were since the following sequel had Anastacia have a somewhat face turn when she fell in love with that baker. [which I honestly found cute]

And her mother tries everything to destroy the blossoming relationship to not lose her daughter to happiness because she certainly isn't happy, she is bitter. Poor Drizella! 😱 Anastasia and Drizella look like cartoon figures and Anastasia becomes more beautiful when she falls in love and I like that too! 😁 Her lilac dress is also very cute! 💕

This scene made me want to learn sewing sooo badly! It is one of my all time favorite scenes from any Disney movie. How much more work it is for this little mice.. Tbh I feel like the pink dress being childish fits Cinderella’s sheltered life; I imagine she would be the type to find joy in cute and pretty things, especially since the last time she’d truly been content with her life was as a child before the loss of both of her parents. @@evieparadaHaha no, she isn't! 😂 Her ball gown is more grown up and fitting for the ball but the pink dress was from her mother and Cinderella wanted to update it but had no time and then the mice and the birds make it to help her. (And this is my favorite scene. I wanted to learn sewing because of it and I eventually learned it. 😄) And yes, it is a shame that the sisters rip it apart but it shows how jealous and evil they really are! I love the pink dress tho.. 💖 They also would have recognized Cinderella in the pink dress.. And we all love the fairy when she does her magic! ✨🎃🐁

I actually have a Cinderella dress that actually follows the original color scheme that was silver . This was back in the 2000’s when I was a little girl. I think it was a limited edition version of the dress. The dress was very beautiful but I only would wear it for Halloween. I had a typical blue Cinderella dress that I also was given that I would use to play dress up at home.
