Seeing how the batter fries in the pan was extremely helpful 👍👍👍 I successfully made the Sweetcorn Raita from the book, the instructions were very clear. Ate the whole dish on my own. Could you do a video on the Aubergine Coconut Rice recipe?

Hi Chetna! Love this recipe, turned out a success😊 Just wanted to ask, can I refrigerate the batter if I don't want to use all of it at once?

Do these have to be made fresh? Or can they be made a day before?
@ApocalypzАй бұрын
I've absolutely no intention of storing the pre-made dosa as it appears to only take 3 mins; however, do you have liberal estimates on how long the batter lasts and/or if I can pre-make the batter and store it in freezer? I'd love to have this at hand, but tend to make things on the fly. Also, I tend to hold pre-made pickles, sauces, etc for a while as it's a 1-person home (e.g. I'm fine with it lasting a couple weeks).

Coconut Chutney??? Recipe please 💛🧡❤
@akankshapatwari4167Ай бұрын
My very quick recipe is to use grated coconut, green chilies, corianer leaves, salt and lemon. I add what we call bhun chana . It will is called roasted/ parched gram dal in English I think. This gives the chutney a body.if you don't find it you can use roasted peanuts ( unsalted). I give it all a whizz in the mixer grinder with a little water. Then give a tadka. All done

If you time to kill or not bothered about quantity of oil. Then cut the fresh coconut into small pieces. Then fry coconut, green chillies, bhuna chana or peanuts in oil and when they turn golden you take them out. Now put the whole lot in the grinder with coroander leaves. Then you give a tadka to the chutney.

PS Since you are adding coconut pieces you will needmixet for more water and run your blender/mixet for longer.

Dont you have to grease the pan before making each dosa? Otherwise it tends to stick.
@theclimbingtreeАй бұрын
It looks like it’s a non stick pan. But anyway, if you let it cook long enough it it will peel away. That’s sort of what she’s showing at 4:22
