@KFieLdGaming8 жыл бұрын
+John Smith I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. I believe Double Jeopardy was in effect... so OJ could of incriminated himself several different ways. He could of walked out of the court room after the trial and told the media "I did it." and they wouldn't be able to re-file charges for that specific crime, ie: the murders. Now if they found evidence relating to some other crime, they could file charges for that obviously. At least that is my understanding of the rule. And if that is indeed the case, Cochran was most likely smiling knowing full well OJ is untouchable as far as the two murders are concerned AND the fact he just made a boat load of cash from successfully defending OJ lol. If I'm wrong about this double jeopardy stuff, feel free to correct me. A couple weeks ago the trial got brought up in the media because apparently someone found a knife buried on the property(had no DNA on it) and they specifically mentioned that even if it was the murder weapon, it wouldn't matter because of double jeopardy.

This comment is ironically true, as he may well have been an eyewitness to SOMEONE ELSE killing them. Maybe he was also in the wrong place at the wrong time when things got out of hand, he feared for his own safety and got the hell out of there. Then just pretended he was never there not realizing the blood evidence when he inadvertently got cut in an initial struggle. Otherwise there was really nothing else linking him to it. He could help his lawyers cast reasonable doubt to defend the murder charges, since he didn't do it himself. You may argue that he should've just told the truth about his whereabouts, what really happened... but he was probably afraid that the killer would just point the finger back at him, take them both down, maybe even get some kind of deal to testify against him (like in the Las Vegas robbery case), at the least face accessory to murder charges. So OJ just had to defend the murder charges as they stood since the prosecution/LAPD didn't want to investigate any further, they figured they had their suspect and it was an open and shut case. Boy, were they incompetent.
@Berkmugga2 жыл бұрын
@@tqsuited 🎯 imo….except I don’t believe the prosecution/LAPD “figured they had their suspect”. Star _gazer it wouldn’t matter if he said something incriminating, he literally could’ve said “I killed Nicole and Ron Brown” and nothing would happen to him because of double jeopardy! The only thing he had to worry about here was the impending wrongful death civil law suit the Brown’s brought against him. They one millions and have yet to get a dime from O.J.

😄🤥 At 1:08, OJ is such a pathoIogical Iiar that the day after his trial ended, he Iied on national TV about the limo driver’s (Allan Park) testimony... despite the fact that the public heard Park’s testimony and could’ve easily reviewed it. And Park spoke out about OJ’s Iies here. Park testified that he saw someone who appeared to be OJ at the top of the driveway, walking down the walkway towards OJ’s front door, walking in the house, and as soon as he entered, the lights turned on. Park buzzed OJ again and finally got an answer after 15 mins of buzzing. Minutes later, OJ‘s bags were brought outside, by OJ’s front door. Edit: And Marcia Clark didn’t lie about or misrepresent Park’s testimony.

Good question, with the newest techniques a lot of aged cold cases were solved. This case costed LAPD of their reputation. Reopen it would be a chance to get back. So why they still sealed it off? Maybe they do know there are other suspects. And that will embarrass them once again.

Whoever killed Nicole and Ron knew Nicole's passcode for her front gate. According to the timeline, Ron buzzed the gate, and talked to Nicole on the intercom. She came out, opened the gate and then the attacks began. Right on the front porch of her home, before they even went inside. Almost as if someone was waiting for the right moment to strike. Now, who would have access to Nicole's passcode? Colombian drug dealers? I think not. It would have to be someone who was close to Nicole. Someone who was insanely jealous of her, and who also was threatened by her male suitors. Whoever killed Nicole and Ron was an obsessive compulsive narcissist who possesses strength, speed, stamina and endurance. Drug dealers don't wear Bruno Maglis, either.

OJ was so guilty. A guilty person feels the need to continue justifying himself. A true innocent person will allow his innocence to prove him right. He seemed either very happy to be free, or show everyone he is happy. A true innocent man will allow this humbling wake up call to remind him the true meaning of life, stay low and true to himself. But no, it was same ole arrogant and defensive OJ.

It's not everyday a person is accused of murdering their ex-wife just to have the media be one sided in their coverage of the trial. It OJ against the Media, the LAPD, the FBI, the LADA's office, and Interpol. The supposedly most import trial in US history and you can't get the official transcripts or any evidence subpoenaed because a judge made it the private property of an LA prosecutor.
