Hi 😊 Regarding losing weight: I have PCOS, struggling with overweight for many years. I finally found something that works for me. Lost 10kg in 2 months, and still going. I hope this can help you, too. 1. Intermittently fasting followind advise from Dr. Mindy Perez. Important here is to do what feels natural to you. For me it is not eating in the morning until lunch, but for you it might be evenings etc. 2. Low sugar/ carbs and high protein. The protein makes you feel saturated and avoids snacking. Helps to build muscle, which in turn burn more calories than fat. 3. Keep high protein snacks on hand: Different types of nuts, snack sausages, roast chickpea, sugar free Joghurts etc. 4. Fill your plate with high volume, low calorie veggies. 5. Make a sheet pan of roasted veggies to snack on. 6. Sport. I signed up for the Gym and go every 2nd day. If you do not have the chance to go to the gym, then get a mini stepper. 7. Take walks every day. 30min is OK, more is better. Your baby will love them, too. 8. Do not count calories. Fats and Proteins are digested differently from carbs. It just gets frustrating. 9. I love the videos of IlanamuhlsteinRD. She is a dietitian and lost 100lb herself. She has the best tips on "volume eating". 6. Add, do not substract. Eg. You can eat a cookie, but add Joghurt, nuts and fruit to it. You can have pizza, but only 1 slice. Fill the rest of your plate with low calorie veggies etc... I wish you all the best ❤

Jaclyn wasn’t the CEO. That’s what the “drama” is. She made it seem like these were her brands. Then the brand declared bankruptcy and it came out in court documents that Jaclyn had no management role within the company at all and they just licensed her name. It was owned by Forma brands. Even Jaclyn said in her videos. After her lipstick failure, she wanted to do the bare minimum. That’s why people are angry. She lead a lot of people on and made it out that it was all her brand.

I don't disagree that her childhood was truly horrible. That her mother was closest thing to evil I've ever heard about. But she communicated on line met her boyfriend (and others) but picked this young man who is autistic and a low IQ to manipulate to kill her mother. He tried numerous times to back out. But she manipulated him to do it. I think a closer look at this young man who's life is ruined while she's doing a PR circuit, getting married, and raking in the money. I think she's learned a few things from her mother and maybe some from cell mates. She has shown ABSOLUTELY no remorse for her ex-boyfriend who is rotting away in jail. I think she got too little of a sentence and he got too much. I also thought that you could not make money on a crime you were convicted of? Am I wrong on that? 😒 🤔

In the time it took her to plan all of this and go get him, why couldn’t she get the police involved. Did she try? Did her family try knowing what they knew? I think part of the problem with weight loss is that people like to think it's black and white. Either, or. Why a person is overweight is complex, multi factorial and is different for each and every person. I developed type 2 diabetes and was put on a common diabetes drug (not ozempic but similar). I've lost 60lb over the course of 2 years and, while I feel a bit better in some ways, (increased ease of mobility, less aches and pains in joints, more energy), there have been negative consequences. I have digestive issues I've never experienced before, I have near constant pain in my stomach, I'm ALWAYS nauseated, and have very little enjoyment around eating. I eat solely to stop the pain of an empty stomach. It's very rare I look forward to a meal or even a particular food like I did before. It took a not insignificant amount of joy in my life from me. Then again, I did not have a food addiction and had a very well balanced diet before the diagnosis so that may be why it's impacted me this way mentally. (It may be completely different for someone with issues around food and/or disordered eating). Tl;dr it's not as simple as doing one thing, because being overweight is not due to one thing.
@soon_to_emerge
@soon_to_emerge 8 ай бұрын
@@nollypollybig agree. I’ve been gradually gaining weight since I was born, now I am morbidly obese and only started to get to the root of the problem. All my previous doctors acted on the accepted method of restricting diet and usual drugs for insulin control. Nothing worked. I could eat less food, less types of food, no sugar, super hard diets as well, it literally never affected even the sped of my weight gain. Now it turns out I have iron levels of a corpse, which means that all of my organs don’t receive enough oxygen, which means they barely work half of what they could (ofc I simplify things here, I hope you get my point). And after a year of consuming copious amount of iron my parameters are even worse than before I started working on my iron deficiency anaemia. I am waiting for my genetic test results to see why my body doesn’t digest good stuff from meds and food. So yeah, it is so much more complicated than a number on the scales. Even if you have healthy weight it doesn’t mean that your body is functioning properly (I know personally two people who can’t gain weight even with fast food and lots of sugar, they just damage their liver and pancreas, but no weight gain).

I had Gastric Bypass 10 years ago and I also have never regretted it. I've gained back about 20 pounds too, but the thing is with prior DECADES of dieting, I was never able to lose weight and keep it off. Having the surgery and losing the weight also meant that I no longer needed to use a CPAP machine and I was able to come off my cholesterol medication. I am so much healthier now.

My choice to go on Wegovy was due to a climbing A1C with my PCOS and thyroid issues as comorbidities. My doctor thought it could help to prevent diabetes with my clinically evident insulin resistance and lack of response to other treatments.. It is a medical decision where you weigh the pros and cons and people shouldn't be pressuring anyone to "just" take a serious medication. It should not be a fad. One day you may decide that it's the right choice for you, but I totally respect your choice to attempt alternative treatment modalities first.

My main issue with the current Gypsy Rose situation is that she’s on a literal press tour. There’s PR in place fueling this “stan culture” that we’re seeing. If she’d been released and went on to live a private or semi-private life, that would feel more “well-adjusted” and generally a lot less icky than seeing her on the View and promoting sales of her book

My mother in law has had no side effects from it. A coworker got pancreatitis from it. It should definitely be discussed with your doctor and monitored. It can be great for so many. I am considering asking my doctor about it for myself. But I may ask to stay on the lowest dose to start, since my body isn't the same after severe covid 3 years ago.

American living in Britain here 👋🏻 I have also lived in Italy for half a decade and I’ve been here for six years, living in various cities so I think I can offer a good perspective. I am obviously biased, but America can be a wonderful place to live! There are so many great things about home that I miss and although I wouldn’t consider myself “patriotic” I definitely have some pride about being from Chicago. People in America are generally unabashedly friendly, welcoming and neighborly in a way I’ve never experienced in Europe. It’s a really large place, so saying “is America a good place to live?” really depends on SO much! But because it’s so big if you do research, you’ll likely find a place you’d enjoy there. Generally, when people ask me which place I’ve lived is best and worst I say “Italy was great. Britain is great. America was great. Also, Italy sucked, Britain sucks, America sucked.” 😂 There are pros and cons to EVERY place, and everyone is different. Just be open and kind, do your research, and enjoy the ride.

About JH- it’s been proven she was never an actual CEO, Morphy used her name and likeness to sell JH Cosmetics. I’m a small business owner myself it is Hella stressful however Jacqueline was not in the same boat. One of those other “businesses” was a completely stolen idea from a smaller creator. Ironically, she’s also a huge reason Makeup Geek closed. She fucked them over financially. This is pretty common knowledge, now that Marlena has confirmed so on podcasts in 2023. So I guess your opinion on her is controversial (is it?)because it’s a little bit weird to have so much sympathy for a woman who would lied to her massive following multiple times, (being a CEO, lipsticks had glove fuzzies only, refusing to acknowledge how to properly inform her audience if the content is sponsored or not, I could go on..) why do we have sympathy for that kind of human/creator again? 👏🏼RECEIPTS👏🏼PROOF👏🏼TIMELINE👏🏼SCREENSHOTS👏🏼 I’m not trying to be a dick, but, like, am I wrong?

I agree with you treading lightly with ozempic. My hubby (diabetic) was on it 3 months before me and his doctor told him to stop. He got SEVERELY depressed and suicdl (abbreviated for YT). He said his head was in such a fog, his thoughts didn't feel like his own. It was so scary. The doctor told him to stop and wait a few months to see his he feels. It sucks, because his A1C was fantastic and he lost weight. But his mental health is more important than any of that. Now, after 3 months off, he's back on it on the lowest dose without raising it, and under close monitoring by his doctor and myself, with weekly check-ins. So far, so good. While it can be great for some people, it does not come without potential side effects. It for SURE needs to be done under a doctor's supervision.

How do you receive medical treatment for a condition that doesn’t exist????? How in the world would she receive medical treatment for cancer if she didn’t in fact, have the lab results to prove that she had cancer? Medical professionals need to do better because this all could’ve been avoided and her mother should’ve been reported by these so-called medical professionals. Her mother was clearly a very sick individual, however… That has nothing to do with the fact that medical professionals took her mother‘s word against actual evidence? My personal opinion is the insurance payments for abusing this child was the most important thing to all parties involved, these doctors were paidin a min amount of money to keep this child sick. And not a single one of them ever expressed any issues or concerns? Did they review her lab results? How do you treat someone for cancer when they don’t have cancer… That’s where we need to start.

Just to touch on the Ozempic subject.. I have PCOS and couldnt lose weight either. I lost every battle, because my cravings were to much to handle. I went to my doctor and talked possibilities (I want kids). My doctor then gave me Rybelsus, which is Ozempic as a pill. I have lost 70 pounds since March and it has been a gamechanger. I only feel sick, if I eat to much in general OR if I have eaten to many carbs. I have gotten my menstral cycle back and it gets closer and closer to what I had, when I was a teen. That said.. Ozempic is not a miracle drug. You still have to change what you eat and how much you eat, plus work out. And you're right, its not JUST a thing you take.. But its worth considering and especially something I recommend every overweight person to talk to their doctor about. :)

I think you hit the nail on the head with the Gypsy Rose talk. It’s very easy to feel bad for her when all you know is the surface level information about what happened. I’ve similarly realized, through my own research reading documents and watching documentaries, that being abused and being manipulative are not mutually exclusive. Yes, she was abused and chemically restrained by the medications she was given. However, there are countless cases of MBP where the abused person did not manipulate someone with a lower than average IQ to murder their parent. She has been shown to manipulate the narrative as well by not being a reliable narrator. I hate what she went through as a child, no one should have to go through that. But this story is not as black and white as people believe it is. Gypsy and DeeDee both displayed monstrous behaviors. I wish she would have been released from prison but mandated to attend intense mental health counseling or something because anyone in her position would desperately need it.

I also find that it’s helped tremendously with my anxiety And binge eating. It has truly set me free from the addiction to food that I didn’t even realize was that bad. People should really do better research before saying it’s the easy way out. Nothing about being overweight was easy. Everyone deserves to be healthy no matter how they get there.

I feel like you should mention the concentration camps in Australia during the pandemic for those who refused the vaccine. Whether you support the vaccine or not, do you want to live somewhere without freedoms and a Constitution to protect you? No. Neither to I. Good luck out there.

@@lacroixal Have you been to the U.S.? Where are you from? The U.S. has significantly fewer problems than most of the world. It's not perfect, but it's a great place to live. And yes, Americans say it's a good country because they've been there and have experienced it. Like no $hit according to us.

As an Australian, I cannot fathom moving to the US. I have quite a lot of family there and while it’s fun to visit and there might be better job opportunities, overall quality of life seems to be worse in America. Sorry to say, but you just have to look at any index on quality of life (e.g HDR) and Australia is almost always higher.

RBK on Gipsy Rose: “but why was she so vengeful about her mom. Is it because of all the torture she endured at the hands of her mom for all those years. Unaliving her wasn’t the answer” Also RBK on PeeD 0’s: “whoever harms a child should breathe this air” Ummm so which is it Kristy?? I do not idolize Gipsy but in not blind to the reasons on why she did what she did

I’ve done a fair amount of PR (Public Relations) work in my career, I’ve followed Gypsy’s story from the beginning, & after watching 1x single post-prison interview, I could tell every tiny nuance was rehearsed. Watched a few others - identical. The answers? Fine to have a plan for that, it’s PR, but these little mannerisms being rehearsed too struck me as weird, it is completely fake & if you didn’t know any better, you wouldn’t catch it. She talks about marriage & advice, after a WEEK in the “real world”. Besides the few days on the run after the 🔪, she has never lived a normal life. It’s so concerning. On a lighter note, you look awesome Kristi, I straight away noticed how much brighter your eyes looked from the clean eating. Sorry to hear the migraines are still ongoing, but you do look great! ❤ Video request: I find your voice really calming, so maybe you could do some longer content where you just pick a topic (totally random, like Gypsy e.g.) & just…talk? Lol 🤣 I’ve really been enjoying the normal life stuff.

I had gastric bypass surgery and I am so happy I got it! Lost 100Ib But it was a huge decision! And had to take like 3 months of classes from my provider in order to get it! Definitely always need to get all your information before making a huge decision like that! I love you!! My favorite KZbinr for YEARS!❤️

Yes!! on everything, but more specifically the "why don't you just..." For me it was always people asking me "why don't you just get on Accutane?" I suffered with some HORRIBLE acne randomly when I was 22-23. It sucked, but it did eventually go away with time. I just didn't see getting on Accutane as this easy decision with all the side effects and people thought I was crazy

I think it’s refreshing when people actually speak their mind in a mature way. I’d welcome your thoughts on more controversial subjects. Probably cause I agree with most everything you say so I’m a little biased.

I love kids, I love how curious they are and how excited they get for the smallest thing. Their exuberance and innocence is heart warming and truly a joy to see. I'll never have children. I can't imagine bringing a child into this world that tells people who they can and can't be. This world that says that who you are is wrong. I found out at 37 that I'm autistic. I struggled through 30+ years to to adapt and to pretend to be "normal". I don't want to potentially pass that on to a child and watch them struggle too. I certainly don't want to bring a daughter into this world that won't allow her to be seen as a person, but as a thing to be controlled. I have nieces and nephews and a I LOVE them so much, but I grieve for their futures. Maybe one day our society will finally be willing and able to find peace, but I honestly don't know that that will ever happen.

+1, very big of you to make that decision. I think a lot of people are extremely reluctant to consider the ethics of their decision to procreate, and it's definitely not the norm to.
