Genuinely impressed with this mod. Looks absolutely gorgeous and runs quite well too! Gonna keep this one enabled just because it makes the spells genuinely significantly cooler with honesty quite little performance hit on default settings.

I feel as though this mod would be improved by implementing Event Horizon logic so that anything that goes beyond that point should be physically unable to escape

Would be lovely if the big black hole absorbed light particles around it and changed color depending on the lightning near it (and becoming dark in dark corridors) but idk if thats how black holes really work. Also the event horizon logic and spaghettization would be cool, instagib someone.

@AquaticAbominationАй бұрын
Yeah it's a cool visual...but the original black hole isn't distracting at all. You can see the projectile, the world, the enemies no problem. This is like the trip in the end of 2001 Space Odyssey. Granted, in this demo I suppose black holes are used repeatedly just for the demo. Maybe it wouldn't be so visually distracting in regular game play but I think this is a bit too much, albeit I kinda love the effect.

just seems like a lensing effect, how is this raytraced?
@Alex-ffeeb22 ай бұрын
The raytracing allows for the accretion disks to be rendered, and also for multiple black holes to interact together. However, a single black hole by itself does approximate a lensing effect on the pixels around it, so that assumption is correct
