Hey Bill and Ryan! Oh man Bill, that sucks and scared not expecting that collision lol! Yeah gliders need some more open space especially to make the landing easier and more turning radius, but you know this now right lol! Hopefully she can be repaired and soar again! Nice camerawork as always Ryan! Thanks for sharing! Thumbs up!

The best bang for the buck park zone radian. I’ve been in a hobby 20 years, and I still fly mine on a good day. You can have it up for an hour one battery or longer if you live in the right states for great thermals, I would highly recommend it even for a beginner parts or assessable the cost is perfect. You would never be disappointed in your purchase.

I have both light controllers for the night radian. I like the J Bauer controller because you still get 100 plus patterns. With the wing nut controller you only get 18

why didn't he trim it out before free flying around? it looked nose heavy. come on GB you got to look out for your boy

Great question! The answer is Wild Bill Flynn likes to test things in the air. I even had some flight packs he could have used, but he wanted to try out what he had.

What is tje difference between the V1 and the V2...all I can tell is that the V2 is not Flite Test...on No I hope it is going to be ok
@GBLynden3 жыл бұрын
The main difference is the new way better looking decals. The light options look like they may have been updated slightly too. My FT version had a pretty big bow in it, but his seemed to be much straighter and can take a punch to the nose!
@FlankerTanker3 жыл бұрын
@@GBLynden Thanks - I have got the Test Flite version - selling cheaper here in the UK because the new one is due soon - I will be adding some carbon rod down the fuse and into the wings also to make it all round stiffer....I don't like the idea of using small bits of sticky tape to hole the Tail plane so I will use a wider stronger tape.. Hope this one will fix up OK..

Hahaha nope and good luck with your maiden 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@PatJones822 жыл бұрын
I did the EXACT same thing on my maiden flight. I took off in safe which was a mistake. Not enough elevator authority in safe. Couldn't climb above or avoid the fence. Cracked nosecone was my only issue. in AS3X mode it flies well and has plenty of elevator throw.
@GBLynden2 жыл бұрын
I am very happy yours had minimal damage too! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@tacticallegos Жыл бұрын
I had a very similar crash except I hit a tree, but it was about the same altitude and then causes a nosedive just like yours did. It crumpled the nose exactly like that but I was able to fix it with some boiling water and patience!

Oh wow! Luckily Bill only needed a new prop and he was back in business. Thanks for watching!

Every RC Plane accident I've had was on safe. Or was supposed to be on safe but was accidentally switched off unexpectedly. And on real flight the NR seems to need a lot of room to maneuver. My night radion is still in the box until I'm confident I can fly it as it seems to need a lot of thinking ahead.
@GBLynden10 ай бұрын
The trick for SAFE is to always have it in high rates while using it. That will give you more control and the benefits of SAFE. With that being said, I very rarely fly in SAFE because I prefer to be in command of my aircraft at all times 👊🏻💥👊🏻
