Advise like yours can never be overly stressed . As modelers we have become complacent to the point of suffering mishaps, accidents and crashes that could have been avoided. Yes, some are beyond our control, but those situations that are avoidable, there is no excuse, we must be ever vigilant! Like Murphy's law- if anything can go wrong, sooner or later the chances are good that it will go wrong!! Thank you for reminding us- check, double check, re-check!!!

Thank you for your kind words as it is much appreciated. You know, I really don't like that Murphy guy ;-) You're absolutely right. Sometimes our mishaps are our own fault. Happy Flying!

Excellent video! It has woken me from my complacency and I will be far more diligent in doing pre and post flight checks of my planes. Nothing more disappointing than getting to the field and having one of my planes not working and not repairable at the field. I will also expand this to check my flight box more regularly to ensure that if I have used something from that it gets replaced so I don't end up cutting my flight session short because I forgot to replace a spare part or took a tool out of the box and forgot to put it back before leaving for the field. I mention this as I have done it in the past and had to cut my flying session short. Rarely the big things that cause us issues, but the little things. Great work, always enjoy your videos, happy flying! Cheers, Scott

Thank you very much! I was very lucky that I got either of these planes in the air that day without a major crash. I guess this needed to happen to keep me from being lazy when it comes to taking a much closer look at the aircraft. Happy Flying!

You are very welcome. It has inspired me to write an article for my new park jet blog to pass on many lessons learned where I, my planes or my gear were not completely ready to fly and it either resulted in some very hairy flying or no flying at all. I would like to link folks to your channel here not only to this video but the many other informative videos you have done if that's OK :). Always lots of little "gems" to add to the collection learning from each other. Happy flying! Cheers, Scott

Thanks for the link, I'm reading your Blog now. I would love to see someone else fly that Micro Park Jet ;-) As soon as I get the plans finalized and ready for posting to Patreon I'll send you a link so you can download and test it. That would be great! I should have it ready to go right after the Holidays.
