Great video! I did that upgrade with my rc4wd 4Runner tf2, I replaced that stupid rigid shaft for the rc4wd punisher shaft version, and I think it looks way better and performs better too! It is a little pricey though. But it does the job well. I have replaced all those plastic shafts on my rigs for them heavy duty punisher shafts.👌😎👍nicely done!

Yep, say it wasn't completely needed but it did take out that little bit of wobble best part is no more falling out grub pins in shaft brotha

who said it wasnt needed ..that had togo asap..even stock its more stable but u still see the slight movement easy fix and if rc4wd knew it wasnt a weak spot they wouldnt make the upgrade where it should be included and the solid piece discontiue that shi$ not thecool scale shit they do@@RcDungeon

That solid shaft has been a prob right from day one. The shaft it self will never break, But out put of the tranny or input of T case will over time snap. The cause to that is if you run long pin the little wobble over time will wear the hole in tranny out shaft and T case. The fix has always been a small drive shaft. Don't know what RC4wd never changed it over the years, I know it took a good 5 years till i snapped out put shaft on the Wrecker,

Yep, this cheap little driveshaft makes it butter and it was only $6 on sale on Amazon. I would say a much needed part honestly. The binding gets worse with a high clearance skid plate as well!!!

It moves because that particular straight shaft does not have U joints for flex. I bought and installed the super scale drive shafts from RC4WD on all my rigs , they are $50, but look super scale and work great.

Yes that's exactly what I was conveying in the video. Don't need to spend $50 these are just as good and on sale corrects the issue 100% for like $7-12 thanks for watching

@@brianwood9849 sorry Rc brother, but yah I get what your saying glad you figured this problem out before ya broke something though because this will definitely cause not normal drive train stress. Thank you for dropping these comments as well its much appreciated by me as well
