I’m not sure how I got here. I have a pretty active prayer life and I don’t normally watch much KZbin but the Holy Spirit totally led me here today! I was so deeply ministered to with this teaching. It has encouraged and strengthened my heart more than anything has in long time. Thank you!

I love all that this man says,his voice is so calming I wish I could hear more he makes the words in bible much easier to understand, I have struggled with understanding the biblical word all my life which made me question things question my faith, wish I could have faith like him I’ve been looking for it for so long hopefully I will find true faith I’ll never stop looking. I use to go into my closet to pray, following my near death and resurrection at age 23. I relearned to walk, be a mom and moved 200 miles away from my family with my son, to begin again. I could not learn enough, and yes I talked to God while I was in closet. Even today, i talk with god throughout my day, showing gratitude for the miracle in my life, as well as all blessing that has been bestowed upon my life, and the lives of my children, grandchildren, and those which I hold dear to my soul. I've always had what seems like a barrier in my prayers. Growing up I was left on my own at a young age. Noone listened to me or cared to. I'm 60 years old and still feel like this child with Father God. I had trauma of abandonment. I wanted to be accepted so I never spoke up for myself. I was hungry but never said. I was cold walking the streets but pretended I was going somewhere. I was in need of a caretaker but noone was there. Then God found me. I was 14. The reason I write this is to give you a sense of who I am and understand what I am about to say. I don't know how I found this channel today but this teaching on prayer is so beautiful. How our Father listens with readiness and we can even remind Him of His promises? How wonderful. I'm going to start doing this type of prayer along with asking the Father to show me Who His Son is. That was the first video I watched. I always think that if you ask something like that you'll end up suffering alot or something bad will happen so THEN you will know God better but maybe lose a leg or something. Please forgive me....for so long I've just wanted to be honest with someone. I'm going to set my fear aside. I'm going to trust that He hears and is at the ready to actively listen to me. Thank you thank you thank you for your teachings today. I agree with you about Cesarea Phillipi and I agree with you that God hears. Thank you. I just need to agree with The Father.

@@originalmix2546 this maybe a bit long' so try to shorten it. I remember being in my cot. And seeing a spirit in the room.and was there most nights.and that happened for 13 years. And everywhere I lived there was evil spirits.thrown from bed. Taken out of body to downstairs ( I had a pub in an old Devon village UK. ) and it attacked me' couldn't breath. Then thrown back threw the beams in ceiling onto my bed. I've had many more attracts through my life. My dear Sikh friend has rescued me a lot of times' he can remove them. Then I got involved in new age' as I was able to do readings. That's when things started to happen' Jesus started coming on Utube' with programs' about how dangerous these spirits were. The first heading was GET OUT NOW. Then he showed me a book . The Shack .3 weeks before i opened it.but it was popping up non stop. A week later i went to a car boot sale' and there was a Pastor giving bibles away and in the middle was the book THe Shack. He gave me both. I loved the book. And started asking questions. But still went to spiritualist church. One thing after the other kept happening. In the middle of a reading. Out of nowhere. I suddenly said the lord prayer. So emotionally that they were all dumbfounded. Me too i didn't even know the Lords prayer. But when the whole church filled with shadow people'(Demons). I fled. And that night I gave my life to Jesus. Now have no fear of evil. Thank you for asking. GBY.

This was so good for me. I just finishing a book (names of God YHWH and attributes)and I am going direct people to this two part presentation. The one thing that helped my prayer life was simply asking God to help me with my prayer life , one thing I often do is ask God to speak for me through His Spirit as Paul even says in Romans the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with wordless groans because we don't know ourselves what to pray for , ever since I started doing this I have had significant improvement in my prayers and as a result prayers answered in miraculous ways! Praise God for His faithfulness❤️ to Him be glory, power, dominon, blessings, honour and praise forever in Lord Jesus precious name. Amen 🙏

That is the enemy that is a stronghold that the enemy is thriving in!! The way I broke that stronghold was I just kept seeking God's Voice through scripture and my prayer time became more and more in my prayers became focused on what to pray for and how to pray and I also put my face to the ground and bow down to show submission and repentance and that our God is in full control! So what I'm trying to say is we have to practice at doing some of the things that are hard to do and we will have a breakthrough and we will able be able to pray that God breaks the strongholds from the Demonic forces

Amen brother I came to Christ roughly 4 months ago and the stronghold against my prayer life was so strong , I was struggling hard to pray especially in front of people and I still do in front of people I can now pray but I do find it challenging for some reason but that may just be anxiety (I was diagnosed a while back) but of course for the majority I have been delivered from my mental health problems by the grace of Christ also delivered from addictions but this is a separate testimony anyway my prayer life improved after literally praying to God to help me pray and He heard me, praise the Lord. 3 things the enemy wants to destroy and that's your prayer life , your study life and your fellowship with brethren all He needs really is to cut off your communication with God and you can study the bible and have fellowship all you want but you are a paralysed limb without prayer! May grace and peace abound in your life more and more brother in Lord Jesus our God and Saviour's name. Amen 🙏

Thank you! We often forget that God allows us to be persistent in prayer just like in Luke 11:8. We want to embrace our calling fully, sometimes he makes us wait a long time to get to the next step. Recently I had read extensively on the words " Thy Will be done". Also that it evoked fear in many Christians because of the idea that God was cruel/to be feared/a vengeful God. Almost as if, by asking God to do HIS Will, he would strike us down with a lightening bolt or any other sort of horrific nightmare we cower from. The fear placed in many of us, as children, of God, makes asking Him for anything, scary. It was through His Son, and the Jesus Prayer, that I started a year ago in 2021, that I first felt I could break through the barrier of "me and Them". Them being God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As if I was outside and preferring it to be so, because I was humiliated by my sins and fearing what would come "one day" on the day of Judgment. But, as you said near the end of your video, when we feel we might or do have "the ear of God" our list falls away. My list has fallen away, yet mountains have moved since Christmas 2021. So just recently have I been brave enough to say " oh Lord, Thy Will be done." I still have butterflies of apprehension in my gut. I still feel I have 53 years of indoctrination about how God will punish me, to overcome. But I am trying. The sense of urgency has picked up since I turned 50. My follies of youth became just that. Youthful follies. I am no longer a youth. Your videos and this is probably the sixth in as many days, are a shower of knowledge and gratitude on me, as I let go of my self inflicted exodus from the Presence of God. Thank you. Please know, that you have transformed at least ONE person's life. I poured over the Bible many times and just couldn't understand it. 2 weeks ago I bought a bible for the first time in decades. Then I found your channel, as I wanted to hear it read out loud. I wished to fall asleep and wake to the verses....and your sleep video was "made" for me in mind. Bless you. 🙏 Now I do fall asleep and wake to your voice reading the bible. It sets the tone for sleep and waking. I had played the Jesus Prayer for the past year but wished for more. Bless all who have helped you make your films possible. May God's Will be done for all who have lent their time and energy to your endeavour. Amen.

I too was lead by the Holy Spirit to your channel. I was struggling with praying for others in front of other people. This work you have presented here is so delicate and gentle so beautifully spoken. It inspired me to dive more into scripture and listen to prayers over and over to hear in each one the subtle way and direct way to speak with King Jesus. There is a hesitation in our prayer Group in Church and I’ve wondered how can we loosen this feeling of unworthiness. I know from this incredible gift you’ve given us ....that is the reason of the blood of Jesus ..it is directly related to that .. not just our sins which being new a Christ follower is incredibly hard to fathom intellectually! And saying that the Holy Spirit is the one who comforts us immediately with this , but you’ve guided us to receive the GIFT of his death and resurrection so freshly delivered . This was needed, thank you , finding my way back to the Father , easy with the magnitude of nonstop evil seemingly engulfing everything now , to lose this powerful Truth, WE DO have the power , love and access of Our Creator at all times because He gave it to us- Lucifer stole it, then Yeshua & God got it back ( one on one relationship) for us so the ‘hesitancy/shame/of satans lie & sin that separated us is removed again through Jesus and I for one needed to be reminded of this, the examples you gave of the Seargent Major, the Olympics, brought tears of realization & freedom I have been searching for for years. Thank you for the steps back to my once living relationship with my Father in Heaven , you’re providing much needed spiritual meat here.

Or by all means post your questions but bear in mind those are questions theologians, atheists, philosophers, the faithful, the faithless, scholars, academics and seminaries have been wrestling with for centuries. The Bible was never intended as a 'scientific document' and doesn't claim to be. Some sects try to make it so, so they can 'prove' the Bible but it's not what the Bible is or ever was. It also was never intended to be a 'historc' document in the same way. It has narrative that uses history, but it was never trying to be a historic document. It is a theological document; it is a canon about God's "desire to establish a earthly family" and imagers of Himself on earth and in heaven. It is a collection of books. letters, reflections, narratives, and some history, that reveals that "God wants YOU back!" It's an anthology of God wanting you back into His family. If I were you, watch a few films of Michael S Heiser and you'll hopefully get some really well-researched answers. Otherwise, we might end up in what I sometimes think of as "Sunday School Theology" and I don't waste my time on such discussions because it is not my job. My job is to redirect People of Faith (PoF) deeper into scripture; deeper into Faith; deeper into God; deeper into the authority and responsibility that God, Christ and The Holy Spirt graced us and graces us with. When I did it on a lone walk and just asked, I opened my mouth and worhsip and wonder flooded out. Try it: ask God to teach you to pray then start...
