To avoid any confusion... "The 1989 World Tour" is just the name of the tour. This performance happened in 2015, as it is stated in the description and on the video itself (0:13). Why is that the name? Taylor named her fifth studio album, "1989", after her year of birth, therefore, that was the name given to her forth headlining tour, in support of this album. Alanis Morisette was a goddess when I was coming of age. Jagged Little Pill was one of the first CD’s I bought on my own. There’s a great documentary out there about her (I think Netflix) that is really worth a watch. She is fucking awesome

Today is my 30th birthday, my mom passed away on thanksgiving day, 11/23/17…. We both rocked out to taylor and Alanis, but She adored Alanis sooooo much, so when i saw this pop up as a new upload….. i felt like my mom was lowkey saying happy birthday to me, all over again… ❤🥲❤️ ….*AND IM HERE!
