RE5R05A Transmission Build EXPOSED!

700HP Nissan Titan RE5R01A 5AT Transmission tear down and disassembly.
We received this automatic gearbox from a very frustrated customer, the transmission experienced multiple complaints and subsequent removals and reinstallations and attempts by the original performance transmission shop to repair it- all of which were unsuccessful.
Finally, the decision was made to send the unit to us to actually upgrade.
Spoiler alert- there was pretty much nothing performance about when we finally got a look inside.
This video demonstrates the teardown / disassembly of the Nissan and Infiniti RE5R05A automatic transmission found in Nissan Titan, Nissan 350Z, and Nissan Infiniti G35. The Jatco version may be found in the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder, Xterra, Armada, and Infinity G35, M35, Q45, M45, QX56, FX45, FX35, and CX35

Hello. How important is a TCM "flash" or "reset/reprogram" after a transmission rebuild?

Anyone know why 05 g35 might slip in gears 2,3 of 12% TPS. I have swapped valves bodies(Programming). Is there some Clutch/Valve exclusive to only gears 2,3? This car has me wanting to send it off cliff HELP!!

I have an Infiniti m35 i recently just rebuilt the vq35de in it with forged internals and a lot of other upgrades. Only thing I’m worried about is the re5 trans. I put in a transgo shift kit. How much hp can I reliably make on this trans with the transgo before it blows?
