People read a horror book and then are surprised when it contains horror and it grosses them out....like isnt that the point? 😂

After being a King fan for 30+ years, I have just accepted that some people will never get his writing. I love how I can easily see his stories. I love the color that your hair faded to, perfect with your lip color. 💖💖💖

This is why I don’t read those reviews. I take that shit too personally.

I loved Salem's Lot, the Tv adaptation actually freaked me out too. It is how a vampire infestation would happen in a town beside them just overrunning the place in one night. It was slow burn but also gave you tidbits of weird stuff happening and it building up. I just finished pretty girls and I agree, if people think its a regular drama thriller eh sorry you're not going to like this, it is another layer deeper. The gore wasn't that bad for me myself but I do know a lot of people who it would have made them throw it out the window. It is graphic but is half the shock of who is doing the gore. It's about worlds being turned upside down and not knowing someone you thought you knew. That's scarier than any of the gore. I am one of the people that didn't finish the stand but that's because when they start saying the symptoms it looked eerily similar to Swine flu that was going around at the time and i got freaked haha

1. Love the hair fade 2. Oh man, the one star reviews are so fun. The five star ones less so cause people ranting is always more fun than people gushing lol. But yesss I want more. Haha

I love “My Best friend’s Exorcism”! It was everything I thought it was going to be, and it has the coolest cover!

Your choices were fascinating and I was impressed that you kept it together. Some of the reviews you read were obnoxious and disrespectful--like going to a Mexican restaurant knowing you hate Mexican food, predictably hating the food, and then going home to write a negative review of the restaurant. My favorite was The Stand post in which the reviewer didn't know where the story was going. I read the book 30 years ago and I still remember that the destination was straightforward

My Best Friend’s Exorcism was my favourite book this year. I felt like it was almost a commentary on rape culture, but maybe just me? Especially when Abby went to confront Gretchen’s parents.

I love these videos they're fun to watch. One thing I would suggest considering is doing timestamps for the different books in the description. Sometimes the reviews can be spoilery and if it's a book we intend to read it makes it easier to skip to the next book. Also, LOVE the color your hair faded to. =)

Going back to the myeyeshadowisodd days lol what is your favorite brand of matte liquid lipsticks? Love your hair! I loved Pretty Girls! Picked it up after one of your reviews. I think you said you wanted to put it in another room and be unaware of its presence. I knew I had to read it.

First of all: I love your hair and make up in this video, even though it is fading is beautiful! Second of all jesus some of those reviews hurt 😂 *it is a stephen king book, I don't know what to tell you* - looooved girl slay. I think people don't want to be faces with the hard truth in books. That for me is the best but some just want to pretend the world is fine and pink...

First off King has written better books, but Salem's Lot certainly has the best ending of his whole career. Spoilers: Yes the vampires win, but Barlow is destroyed and Ben and Mark choose a creative way to wreak havoc upon the remaining bloodsuckers. And it's so badass the way Ben says wouldn't it be something if the town burned down. Sure would make it easier to catch them offguard. And then they smoke a cigarette and dropping the match watch the fire slowly start to destroy everything in its path. If you want to read a good Exorcism book: read Paul Tremblay's Head Full of Ghosts. It is told through the eyes of Merry whose big sister sure is acting weird. Both girls are entirely winning, and besides being very spooky, at bottom it is a tragedy about the several ways that a family can torture itself when one of its members is slowly being used up.

Your hair looks gorgeous, especially with that lipstick. I love Karen Slaughter but I haven't read Pretty Girls. Honestly I wasn't a fan of the religious/good and evil parts in The Stand either, and I am a Stephen King fan. I gave it more than 1 star though.

Has anyone read both under the dome and the stand? I really liked under the dome, and for some reason the description of the stand makes me think i would like it too. I tend to have mixed feelings on stephen king books, so just curious, for people who have read them both, do you think if you liked one you have a good chance of liking the other?

I also enjoy fucked up disturbing shit...some people are scared of the things I enjoy 🤷♀️ I just finally read In The Tall Grass by SK and Joe Hill and people said it was too disturbing and morbid and I ended up liking it a lot. They are turning it into a movie and I wonder how 😂 since most people will not like this at all.

I'm always curious to know, when I come across a bad review of a book I like, what that reviewer considers a GOOD book, y'know? Often, those who piss all over something many others like are being contrarian, or dislike the entire genre anyhow. Ignore them.

I do understand that not every reader is going to enjoy even the best authors but to just read one book and say that their writing sucks is not a descent review of the writer to me. I don't like every book that King wrote but he is one of my favorite writers and I have tried several other new writers this year and more than one of their books and yes I like some and not others but not enough to give them a one star nasty review. You can't please everyone right?
